CHARLES COUNTY RAIN-OUT POLICY
In the case of inclement weather, each of the county park fields will be evaluated individually as to their playing condition. County parks are located in different areas of the county and that a cancellation at one park does not necessarily mean that games will be cancelled elsewhere. Games on park fields will be cancelled in order to protect the safety of the participants and/or to preserve the integrity of the playing field. Cancellations at the last minute or at game time will be handled by the PARK STAFF. All park fields will be evaluated and given one of the following ratings. Please keep in mind that these conditions are suject to change as the weather changes:
"A" Condition - Fields are playable and maintained. Games are on!
"B" Condition - Fields are playable, but not maintained. Games are on!
"C" Condition - Fields are playable at this time, but not in good
shape and not maintained. Play depends on weather conditions
between now and game times.
"D" Condition - Fields Unplayable. Games are CANCELLED
Our web-site Welcome Page will have the current field conditions three (3) hours prior to our home games and will be updated as the need arises. MANAGERS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR NOTIFYING ALL PLAYERS/PARENTS ON GAME CANCELLATIONS, HOME or AWAY!
