                     Practices Start December 3rd

Important 2020-2021 Season Information!

  • Registration opens Monday November 30th - 
  • Registration is limited to the first 60 wrestlers. 
  • Cost is $175.00 if you are a first year or returning wrestler and need a new singlet or $125.00 if you are returning and do not need a new singlet. You keep the singlet. 
  • Refunds will not be issued after December 11th when we make the USA Wrestling Card and MVKWA Weigh-In Card purchase with the only exception:
    • IF the season is cancelled due to Covid and USA Wrestling and/or MVKWA refunds us the competition cards, we will refund accordingly. 
  • There will be a mandatory parent meeting, TBA
  • New Participants will be required to bring a copy of their birth certificate to the first practice unless it was uploaded during registration. You can not compete until we have a copy of your birth certificate  on file. 
  • Everyone is required to participate in the fundraiser. We will be in contact with you regarding the fundraiser.

  • Practice starts Tuesday December 3rd. 

 COVID RESTRICTIONS:

  • Parents will NOT be able to stay to watch practice
  • Wrestlers are to wear masks to and from practice
  • Water fountains are closed, wrestlers should bring their own water bottles to practice and SHOULD NOT share.
  • Parents will not be allowed to enter building during practice
  • Parents need to pick their wrestler up at the very end of practice at the side door
  • Wrestlers will have their temperature taken before entering the wrestling room
  • Wrestlers exhibiting any symptoms will not be permitted in the building. Please keep your wrestler home if he/she is having any symptoms
  • Wrestlers will have the same group of wrestling partners that they can practice with all season. Group will be no more than 4 wrestlers
  • Practice will be 1 hour long. You will be assigned practice time of either 6:00 or 7:15. We will have 2 separate groups of no more than 30 wrestlers per session. Wrestlers will be in an assigned circle in the wrestling room. This will be their practice circle for the entire season. Wrestlers should enter the wrestling room and immediately head to their assigned circle and sit until practice starts.

 MVKWA COVID Meets:

  • Will start one month later than usual.  Will be Sundays in January & February 2021.
  •  No Regional Meets and no Nutter Center Meet scheduled now due to COVID-19 risks.
  • Meets will be capped at 206 wrestlers.
  • Meets will have four sessions starting at 11:45, 1:15, 2:45, 4:15
  • Wrestlers’ staging will be next to their mat/#, with wrestlers sitting 6 feet apart with masks on when not wrestling.
  • Spectators will be limited per session.  Per Ohio order, max is lessor of 15% of gym capacity or 300.
  • Host team should not have a concession stand, to minimize COVID-19 risks.

Beavercreek Youth Wrestling exclusively uses an online registration system. 

We use Blue Sombrero, a leading provider of online registration systems for youth sports clubs and organizations. 

You will first need to Create a Blue Sombrero Account, then Add Participants (please upload birth certificates if you are new to our program), complete the Volunteer Section, and move through the payment screens.
