Dear Parents and Guardians,
On behalf of the Board of Directors of Ceres Seahawks youth football and cheer, welcome to the 2013 season! I want to welcome back all of our returning Seahawks families, but I want to extend a special welcome to the families that are joining our team for the first time. I hope your experience with the Ceres Seahawks will be everything you expect, and much more.

We have an exciting year ahead of us as we continue to build on the tradition, success, and excellence of the Ceres Seahawks. In preparation for the 2013 season we have gone to great lengths to involve our community more in our endeavors and plan a variety of upcoming events to highlight our football season here in Ceres.

We ask you as parents and participants to help us provide a clean and safe environment for our children. Everything we do reflects on our children in some way. Youth football is a place where people can come no matter what religion, race or background; watch their children in a good game of football and for a little while forget about the animosities of the world. Parents walk away with smiles on their faces and know in their hearts this is what it's all about; THE KIDS! We might not always see eye to eye but we all have the responsibility of teaching our kids good sportsmanship, the value of friendship and the love of the game.

Since the Ceres Seahawks is only as strong as our volunteers, I urge each and every one of you to make time in your schedule to lend a hand when asked to help out. I can assure you that the reward you receive will far exceed the time spent!
