U13AA Semi-Finalists
Summer 2009: After a difficult U12F-AA season and following the departure of the team's  long-time coach, the team drops down one class of competition: from U12F-AA to U13F-A.
The Club’s technical director, Brian Ridgway, assumes the head coaching position.
He announces a 3-year plan
to improve individual ball skills, increase passing, and maintain possession of the ball.
Year 1 of the 3-year plan is a bumpy one…
The girls struggle to learn the new way of playing but improve steadily throughout the season.

from U13F-A to U14F-AA.
The girls continue to improve and begin to really embrace the new style of play.
The second half of the season would be a preview of what was to come in 2011.
Year 2 of the 3-year plan is a huge success…
The girls KNOW they are improving fast and can’t wait for year 3!!!

“This is fast becoming the most closely knit team I’ve ever coached. The girls respect each other and play for each other. I think the girls recognize what a special situation we have this year and are happy and excited to be part of it.”
