All Star Manager Selection

The Little Fellows League of Colonia’s Executive Board is now accepting requests for managerial positions for the upcoming All Star season. The following positions are being considered for all age groups, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 year olds. When requesting an All Star Manager’s position there are other duties associated with it other than just managing the players and games. The following is a list of what would be required of you:
• Contact teams in other towns to play in the Colonia Tournament that we host at our fields, (usually 8 teams would be necessary).
• Manager would be responsible for all games in the Colonia Tournament that you are hosting, including scheduling, preparing the fields, and scheduling snack bar coverage.
• Preparing the field (includes raking and lining the field for every game in your tournament).
• Snack bar coverage, Includes having your All Star player parents working the stand during all tournament games played for your division, not just the games involving your team if your parents do not wish to work they may take the buy out for $20.00 per shift and the board will arrange for coverage during those slots. Parents must prepay the $20.00 and leave it with the board. If your parents do not show up for their scheduled shift you are responsible for getting coverage. There is no buy out option at that point. Also at the end of the night they are responsible for cleaning the snack bar and bathrooms.
• Managers have to coordinate with LFLC umpire representative to schedule umpires for all games
These items are necessary to follow in order to insure your continued participation as an All Star Manager.
