Manager/Coach Requirements

When it comes to baseball and softball, Managers and Coaches are the ones who spend the most time interacting with players.  Because of that, more than anyone else in our program, our MBL Managers and Coaches are the ones who can make a child’s experience in our programs fun and memorable.  There is nothing that can have more of a positive impact on our players than improving the quality and knowledge of our Managers and Coaches.

With that in mind, it is imperative that all MBL Managers and Coaches be properly trained to ensure they are not only knowledgeable of skills, techniques, and safety (of the players and themselves), but also to ensure that they are focused more on the players’ baseball experience and less on winning games.  Therefore, all those seeking to serve as Managers or Coaches in MBL’s Rec and Travel baseball and softball programs MUST complete all of the training listed below prior to the beginning of the baseball season in order for them to be authorized to serve as Manager or Coach.
