TBALL : 4-5 Year Olds (Age on May 1)
Introducing baseball/softball to 4 & 5 year olds. The very basic baseball skills are introduced. The league uses a soft ball and utilizes a batting tee in order to develop proper swing technique and to keep the pace of the game more enjoyable for the younger ages.

SHETLAND : 5-6 Year Olds (Age on May 1)
Introductory pitching machine league for 5 & 6 year olds. The league uses real baseballs and implements most of the typical baseball rules used in the Pinto league. This league does allow child to hit from tee if unable to hit from pitching machine. The focus of the league is the introduction of baseball fundamentals, while introducing the concepts of scoring runs and recording outs. It is recommended your child has had prior baseball experiences, preferably one season of T-ball, prior to participating in the Shetland program.

U8 : 7-8 Year Olds (Age on Jan 1)
Advanced pitching machine league. Program participates in Rural girls league (see www.ruralgirls.net). This league does allow strike outs if batter does not hit from machine. All players on roster will bat. Coaches allowed in the field to help with instruction.

U10 Fast Pitch : 9-10 Year Olds (Age on Jan 1)
Live pitch league. Program participates in Rural girls league (see www.ruralgirls.net). All players on roster will bat. Steals are allowed.

U12 Fast Pitch : 11-12 Year Olds (Age on Jan 1)
Live pitch league. Program participates in Rural girls league (see www.ruralgirls.net). All players on roster will bat. Steals are allowed.

U14 Fast Pitch : 13-14 Year Olds (Age on Jan 1)
Live pitch league. Program participates in Rural girls league (see www.ruralgirls.net). All players on roster will bat. Steals are allowed.
