Radnor's JV bats were hot as they beat Marple 13 - 3 in just 5 innings. Jack DeShan got the win, pitching the first 4 innings and Will Hoysgaard pitched well in the last inning. Matt Schaefer went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and Ross Ebersole's 2 hits led to 5 RBIs.
Quinn's 5 innings of relief leads Radnor's Varsity to 2nd straight 8 - 5 win.

Terrance Quinn earned the win against Lower Merion with 5 innings of relief of Justin DiCarlo. Connor Wilson had his 3rd straight multi-hit game (2 hits & 2 runs), Sean Corelli added 2 hits and 3 runs and Tom Austen went 1 for 2 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Radnor is now 2-1 in the Central League.

Radnor came back from an early 2 - 0 deficit and took an 8 - 2 lead before holding on to an 8 - 5 win against Marple's Varsity squad. Sean Corelli got the win and Justin Dicarlo earned the save. Connor Wilson had 3 hits for the home team and Terrance Quinn, Tom Austen and Andrew Austen added 2 hits each.

Radnor Freshmen 6 Harriton 6

The Radnor Freshmen battled Harriton to a 6-6 tie in a game called due to deteriorating weather conditions. Evan Zhang and Ryan Tague pitched solidly only allowing 1 earned run combined. Evan Moore and Joe Riley paced the offense with several key hits between them.
Girton earns 1st Varsity win! Raiders come back from 3 - 0 deficit against Episcopal Academy.

Will Girton allowed 2 unearned runs in 7 brilliant relief innings to notch his first Varsity win in the 7 - 5 (9 inning) game. Chipper O'Sullivan's 2 out, 2 RBI single gave Radnor a 5 - 4 lead in the 6th inning. After allowing an unearned run with 2 outs in the 7th, Radnor used patience to score two, 2-out runs in the top of the 9th inning. Connor Wilson and James Lofton scored in the 9th. Matty Schaefer and O'Sullivan reached base twice each. James Lofton, Mike Lanzone and Garrett McGurl connected on a great relay to throw out the EA leadoff batter who tried stretching a double to lead off the 9th.
Corelli's arm, Lord's bat and McGurl's glove are key to a big win.

Sean Corelli threw 5 strong innings to pick up his 2nd win of the season. John Lord's 2 out, 3 run triple keyed a 4 run uprising in the 3rd inning. Mike Lanzone also doubled, and scored twice as did Corelli and Tom Austen. Garrett McGurl played a fantastic game at 3rd base for the home team.
McGurl earns 1st Varsity win as Radnor gets another road win.

Garrett Mcgurl went 6 strong innings striking out 9 and allowing just 4 hits as Radnor topped The Green Raiders 10 - 2. Mike Lanzone belted a double, going 2 - 2 with 3 runs scored. John Lord doubled and tripled and added 3 RBIs. Connor Wilson and Josh Katz added 2 hits each.

Radnor's JV beat Haverford 6 - 5. Multi-hit games were provided by Pat McDermott who went 3 for 4 with 2 Doubles, and Charlie Connolly who was 2 for 4 with a double. Martin Connor contributed a 2 run double. Jack Deshan was the winning pitcher (5 innings), and Pat McDermott was our closer.
JV rattles Ridley for a 10 - 5 win.

Solid pitching by Will Hoysgaard (5 innings) and closer, Jack Collins (2 innings) led to another JV win. JV's bats are consistently productive. Martin Connor, Matt Schaefer and Pat Scheri each had 2-hit games. Schaefer had 2 doubles and a triple with 2 RBIs and Martin had a double with 2 RBIs.
DiCarlo closes again. Katz's double snaps 6 - 6 tie.

Justin DiCarlo threw 3 no hit innings, in relief of Terrance Quinn, to register his 2nd save of the year as Radnor won for the 3rd straight day. This win over Springfield High School was the 4th straight win overall. Sean Corelli, Quinn and John Lord each had 2 hits to pace the offense. Josh Katz's 2 out 2 RBI double gave the Raiders an 8-6 lead in the 4th inning.

Radnor's JV defeated Springfield, 8 - 7, with a 2 out walk-off win. Down 7 - 4 in the 6th, they scored two runs with 2 outs with Connor Tredway getting the big hit. In the 7th inning, singles by Ross Ebersole and Jack Deshan set the stage for Jack Collins' 2 out game tying double and with Sean Brett running for Collins, Martin Connor laced a shot down the line to score Sean with the winning run.
John Dougherty went 3 for 3 in the victory.
Charlie Connolly pitched 5 strong innings, and Adam Thomson got the win in relief.

Radnor's JV beat Archbishop Carroll 8 - 7 in another 2 out walk-off, with John Dougherty's single scoring Sean Brett for the winning run. Martin Connor provided a single to tie the game.
Jack Collins picked up the win in relief and Jack Deshan and Will Hoysgaard both had 3 hit games.

After trailing against Penncrest 2 - 0 and then 3 - 2 going into the bottom of the 7th, Will Hoysgaard's hit scored Adam Thomson to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh. Unfortunately, the Raiders ran out of gas in the eighth and fell 9 - 3.
Will and Jack DeShan pitched well against a very good squad from Penncrest.
Hits for the Raiders came from Schaefer, Ebersole, Hoysgaard, Connor, and Dougherty.
Corelli goes the distance as Radnor defeats Garnet Valley.

Sean Corelli allowed just 4 hits and 1 earned run as the Raiders jumped out to a 6 - 0 lead and held on to beat the hosts 8 - 5. Freshman, Pat McDermott, led the offense with a single and a double. Josh Katz had a big 2 run double in the 5th inning and later scored on James Lofton's suicide squeeze. Connor Wilson and Corelli each added 2 hits for the winners who are now 7 - 4 (6 - 3 Central).
DiCarlo earns 1st Varsity win. Corelli leads 14 hit attack.

Brad Henkin threw 6.1 stellar innings only giving up 1 earned run but the Radnor Freshmen fell to Penncrest 4 - 2. The teams were tied at 1 heading into the 7th inning. After giving up 3 unearned runs in the top of the inning, the Radnor Freshmen battled back but came up short leaving the tying run on 2nd base. The team played solid defense throughout the entire game highlighted by Alec Escobar's strong play in left field. The team also executed 2 cutoffs to perfection, throwing out runners at both 3rd and home.
JV takes fans on a roller coaster ride, but pulls out a win!

Radnor blew a 9-3 lead, but scored 7 times in the top of the 7th to claim an 18 - 11 victory. Mike Lanzone set a school record by reaching base safely in all 6 plate appearances (3-3, 4 runs scored, 3 RBIs). Josh Katz (3-4, 2 runs scored, 2 RBIs) and Pat McDermott (1-2, 2 runs scored, 4 RBIs) paced the active Radnor offense.

Tommy Austen's 1-out single plated Garrett McGurl and propelled the home team past Marple Newtown for the win. McGurl was pinch running for Josh Katz after he hit a nice double. The MN starter Ricky Collings had a perfect game going until the 6th inning when Terrance Quinn and Connor Wilson hit singles to break it up. Mike Lanzone's RBI single tied the game in the bottom of the 6th. Sean Corelli was masterful going 8 innings and striking out 12. Connor Wilson and Pat Scheri made terrific catches in the outfield to keep the game close.

JV bats exploded for 6 runs in each of the 2nd and 3rd innings. Multi-hit games were provided by Ross Ebersole, Adam Thomson, Matt Schaeffer and Will Hoysgaard. Eleven RBIs came from seven different players. The "Jacks"- DeShan and Collins each pitched well for six innings, and Ross Ebersole "closed" the game in the 7th.

Terrance Quinn dominated Strath Haven allowing just 1 hit and 1 unearned run in a complete game win. Pat McDermott's safety squeeze plated Mike Lanzone in the 2nd inning to tie the game at 1. Tom Austen's 2-out, 2-run single gave the Raiders the lead for good in the 3rd inning. Mike Lanzone played an outstanding 2nd base.
Corelli allows just 1 earned run in CG win. Raiders finish 11 - 5 in Central League.

Sean Corelli allowed just 1 earned run in a complete game win, against Springfield High School, to push Radnor's League record to 11 - 5 and secure them a home game in next week's AAAA District tournament. Josh Katz, Mike Lanzone and Ben Cohen all had 2 hits to pace the offense. Connor Wilson scored twice including a 2nd-to-home scamper on Sean Corelli's groundout to the first baseman. Terrance Quinn reached on an error with 2 outs, in the top of the 7th, to plate Ben Cohen, who had a 2-out single and stolen base in the top of the 7th.

Matty Schaefer's 2-out single plated Pat Scheri who pinch ran for John Lord after his 2-out double, in the bottom of the 8th. Schaefer went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI's, and freshman Pat McDermott went 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs to pace the offense. Terrance Quinn threw 2 scoreless innings to pick up the non-league win. James Lofton made a terrific catch in deep left to keep the score tied in the top of the 8th. The bottom line: Plymouth-Whitemarsh 9, Radnor 10.

Radnor won their 1st home playoff game, in 20 years, 4 - 0 over Central Bucks East! Sean Corelli twirled an impressive 5 hitter. Ben Cohen launched a 2-out, 2-run home run in the 5th to make the lead 4-0. Corelli added 2 hits to help his cause. Josh Katz's double was the only hit for the hometowners who fell to Boyertown, 3 - 0, in the 2nd round of the AAAA District playoffs. Garrett McGurl only allowed 1 hit after the 1st inning where the Bears scored all 3 of their runs. Terrance Quinn and Pat McDermott combined on a nifty 2-6-2 to get out of the 1st inning. The boys end the season 14 - 8 and the senior class leaves with 40 combined wins over the past 3 seasons. Best of luck to all of our seniors! We'll see the underclassmen again in 2015!!!
