Intramural League:

Our Intramural leagues are open to all children beginning at age 6. We offer a Developmental league for all beginning players ages 6 & 7, older Leagues separated by gender and age for ages 8-13 as well as a combined grade league for high school players. Our intramural leagues strive to create a competitive balance for all teams to allow for better game play and learning. All children receive practice and a full basketball season, all to improve their overall ability, skill and love for the game of basketball.

Below are explanations of each UM Hoops Intramural Division:

* 6-7YO Co-Ed developmental league: for all children (boys & Girls) age 6 or 7 by July 31 of the current calendar year (1^st/2^nd Grade).

* 8-9YO Boys Intramural league: For boys age 8 or 9 by July 31 of the current calendar year (3^rd/4^th Grade).

*10-11YO Boys Intramural league: For boys age 10 or 11 by July 31 of the current calendar year (5^th/6^th Grade).

*12-13YO Boys Intramural League: For boys age 12 or 13 by July 31 of the current calendar year (7^th/8^th Grade).

*High School Boys Intramural League: For boys age 14+ and attending High School (9^th-12^th Grade)

*8-9-10 Girls intramural league: For girls age 8 or 9 or 10 by July 31 of the current calendar year (3^rd/4^th/5^th Grade).

*11-12-13 Girls Intramural league: For girls age 11-12-13 by July 31 of the current calendar year (6^th/7^th/8^th Grade).

Upper Moreland Hoops begins with our youngest players. We try to teach and instill skill, work ethic and learning beginning at age 6. While children are learning to do math, read and other important tools at school, UM Hoops is trying to carry those important foundations into our basketball program and continue teaching the children of Upper Moreland valuable lessons that we hope will carry them as they grow.
