MISSION STATEMENT

The Vineland Basketball Association was established in June of 1986 for the purpose of promoting and developing a comprehensive youth basketball program encompassing the entire City of Vineland.

The major objective of the VBA Board of Directors is to provide boys and girls ages six through seventeen the opportunity to play basketball on a recreational level.

The primary goals we wish to achieve are twofold and include:
(1) teaching the basic skills and strategies of the game to every young athlete registered in our program, and
(2) instilling in each athlete a sense of fair play and the value of good sportsmanship.

As we of the Vineland Basketball Association realize the importance of helping to promote the social development of our young athletes, we are committed to making certain that every participant in our program experiences the maximum amount of fun and enjoyment possible.

Our final objective, one of paramount importance, is that we always maintain as our top priority those whom we serve (our fine, young athletes). They are first and foremost and all of our endeavors must be devoted entirely to their benefit.

The Vineland Basketball Association is sanctioned by the City of Vineland Recreation Commission.
The Vineland Basketball Association does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or religion.
