WELCOME TO WPYSA
2013 FOOTBALL SEASON
We are very pleased to have your child participate as a football player to represent WPYSA. We want everyone to be able to work together as board members, parents, directors/instructors, and squad members so that this will be our best season ever. If you ever have a question or problem, we at WPYSA welcome your concerns and appreciate a phone call. Please give us the opportunity to work on an immediate solution. We appreciate your patience as we strive to work out any issue that may arise. We do ask that you only call us on the numbers listed below at reasonable hours, except in an emergency.
FEES: The fees have been kept as reasonable as absolutely possible. The fee is payable in installments with the final one due at the commissioner’s discretion. Upon signups, you should have received a budget breakdown specific to your child’s age group.
2013 Football Season $175.00 (includes concession)
Payment plans are available. Please contact commissioner or assistant commissioner in regards to any questions you have.
There is an admission fee to each game that is $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for students and senior citizens—the participating child will not pay.
GAMES: All games are played on Saturday afternoon/evenings (except make-up games). A schedule will be provided to you as soon as possible. Football players are to attend ALL events including play-offs, Super Bowl, and make-up games. Football players will also be required to stay for all 5 quarters. Please also note that we do travel for our games, in the surrounding counties. Transportation for your child to and from games are the parents responsibility. (There are 10 regular season games usually starting in the latter part of August.) No outside food or containers are allowed inside the gate. All drinks and food must be purchased from the concession stand.
Each player is expected to be at the field 1 hour prior to each game (including 13 games – 10 regular season, playoffs, and superbowl) in full uniform and ready to play. We play in the heat, cold, and heavy rain.
