FUNDRAISING CHAIRPERSON
The cheerleading board has elected Liz Blade head of all fundraising. She will be communicating with coaches & Lorie on your behalf and organizing all fundraisers for the 2009/2010 season.

FUNDRAISING/BILLING/STATEMENT INFORMATION
We have been doing a MAJOR overhaul to our budget due to increase in staffing needs, increase in the price of gas, & increase of our gym rental for next year. We have also had numerous talks between our accountant and the federal government on what we are & are not able to do. In addition to what we can adjust to "suit our needs". Negotiations and clarifications are now final and here is what we can/cannot do. . . .
WE CAN...
Fundraise based on the team you belong to (meaning you can fundraise camp + choreo + competition fees + monthly fees + other misc. fees like team gifts & makeup).
EIAS will now have an apparel account. You will no longer pay CSA for apparel. Please make all payments to EIAS.
WE CANNOT...
Pay off last year's bill with the fundraising you did after our first goal date (DECEMBER'S comp fees were the first goal).
Fundraise for clothing, uniform, or shoe fees.
HOW WILL THIS CHANGE OUR STATEMENT?
You will have a statement that gives you the total amount for the year due at the beginning of the season. You will also be given a goal schedule (& it will be posted on the website). This schedule will give you a target date for an amount that must be paid by that date to remain an active member. You can make monthly payments OR fundraise. As your money comes in through payments and/or fundraising you will see line items reflecting each credit off the balance. (Don't worry - - we will have an example to show you at our first parent meeting for the teams!)

IMPORTANT: You MUST take a TIPS class in order to work any of the events at the I-Wireless Center.

Please respond with your availabilities and remember that there are no guarantees (money, working, etc.), as we may have to cut based on attendance. Rocky will confirm with you via email, as we get closer to each event, wether our services are still needed.

Attention All Stars! We have teamed up with the i wireless Center for a great fundraising opportunity!
All you have to do is use the code STARS to buy discounted tickets for any of the i wireless Center events listed below and funds will be donated back to the organization for every ticket sold! So far, we have raised over $2400 since January, so keep
up the good work!
