Read Below To Find Out How You Too Can Attend These Events In Knoxville
The proud city of Knoxville, Tennessee in 2006, 2007 & 2008 was home to the largest youth football tournaments in the state of Tennessee and one of the largest in the entire Country! We host two major football events per year (August ~ Kick-Off Classic and November Battle In Rocky Top). Exactly 229 teams from 20 different states participated in our two events in '08. To find out who all has participated in the past check the "Past Attendees" link to the left, also you can find out who were the champs & runner-ups. Believe it or not we expect an solid amount of growth of teams in '09. With brand new "Shumpert Park" being built we are able to take on more teams. Shumpert Park is a mini version of the always popular John Tarleton Park (which has five football fields at one venue, not soccer fields, FOOTBALL FIELDS). Shumpert Park will have three full lighted football fields outfitted with scoreboards, bleachers and bermuda grass. We anticipate hosting over 250 teams this fall, make sure you don't miss it!
In August we have the hottest and most talked about pre-season event going in all of the country (largest Kick-Off Classic in all of youth football in '07 & '08). In November our Battle In Rocky Top has quickly become the biggest event in youth football. The November "Battle In Rocky Top" also has a Cheerleading Competition for the young ladies.
For every team's safety and to ensure everyone attending has an incredible positive experience we thoroughly background every single team and coach attending. We also thoroughly check out every player on every team during our weigh-in, we pride ourselves on this for safety of the players. In 2009 expect the team/player check-in process to be even more thorough!

There will be alot of exciting things going on each weekend of these events in the city. There will be PLENTY to do at either no cost to you or at a very inexpensive cost to you during your visit.
Various levels of competition attends our events, everything from unbeaten, unscored on league champs to teams that only won a few games, so regardless of your team's skill level we have fair age/weight divisions for you and your team. We pride ourselves on fair match-ups, we set the brackets based on skill and size (in that order) in all age divisions. We have the more competitive teams playing each other and the less competitive teams playing each other right out of the gate. We want every single team, player, cheerleader, coach, parent & spectator to have a great time at our events. WE CATER TO EVERYONE BUT FAVOR NO ONE. We strongly believe in a fair playing field as our event is all about the kids and their safety. We expect every single adult and coach to act like a great role model for our kids. We DO NOT TOLERATE any unruly behavior out of anyone, you'll be asked to leave w/ no chance of ever returning to one of our events. IF YOU LIKE REALLY WELL ORGANIZED, FUN & FAIR EVENTS THEN THESE ARE FOR YOU AND YOUR TEAM. WE DO NOT TOLERATE ANY TEAMS CHEATING, YOU WILL BE DISMISSED FROM THE EVENT W/ NO REFUND AND WE WILL GO OUT OF OUR WAY TO ENSURE EVERY TOURNAMENT ACROSS NORTH AMERICA KNOWS YOUR BUSINESS AND CONDUCT. WE WILL ALSO CONTACT YOUR LEAGUE AND ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT TO LET THEM KNOW YOUR ACTIONS. BOTTOM LINE, PLAY FAIR, ITS A GAME FOR KIDS, WIN AND LOSE W/ THE SAME AMOUNT OF CLASS. ADULTS, COACHES, LET'S ALL BE GOOD EXAMPLES FOR OUR CHILDREN AS THEY ARE THE FUTURE.
You'll find our weight limits at our events higher than the normal. This is because we don't won't a team to not come over a few pound weight difference. Most every single team that annually attends has a much smaller weight than what we use at our event. Keep in mind we do matchup everyone as fair as possible. If you're a smaller low weight restricted team then don't worry we set the brackets to where you play teams close to your size as possible uness you request otherwise. In some cases you may play an unlimited team but rest assured that age is FAR more important than size at the youth level and we will guarantee you that all teams accepted in the events are playing with a legit roster!
