Support the Jamal Davis Fund
The Brooklyn Seminoles, have created a fund to help Jamal Davis financially. Donations to this cause will help Jamal with his livelihood; help pay his hospital bills and take care of a younger brother who Jamal takes care of and who suffers from High Function Autism. Jamal mother passed away October 5th 2007.
Jamal Davis was born at Kings County Hospital August 5, 1977. He attended Sheepshead Bay High School and Interboro Institute. Jamal worked as a Technician Specialist for three years, but during his pass time sports is his passion. Jamal has been an athlete since the age of 6 where he played basketball at PS221, in Junior High School he played baseball at IS391 and football for Sheepshead Bay High. In 2008, Jamal played for the Brooklyn Seminoles as a cornerback (#4); and on September 7, he was injured on the first play of the game against the NYC Falcons. Jamal’s back and neck was broken in three places. He was taken to Kings County Hospital and later moved to Mt. Sinai in Manhattan. Today, there are plans to move Jamal to a nursing home where he can be better treated and more physical therapy can be administered (therapy which he receives 4 times per day).
You can help Jamal by donating to this fund because we believe “we must stand together and help each other, especially in times of need”. An account has been set up through Capital One Bank. You are able to make donations to the account number 7047043683. All funds will be for Jamal Davis.
