SPONSORING A TEAM AT DELWOOD
Delwood is a non-profit organization, composed of volunteers. Delwood’s primary goal is to, “Bring Out The Best In Every Child”. Delwood has been in existence for 52 years. Delwood Optimist volunteers have donated a countless number of hours over the past 52 years. Our volunteers maintain 4 Baseball Fields, 1 Football Field, and 1 Kickball Field in order to be able to provide a fun, safe, caring, and nurturing environment for our children.
We provide programs for youth from Northeast Austin and surrounding areas. Our programs consist of Baseball, Football, and Cheerleading for ages as young as 3 years old up to 16 years old.
Delwood Optimist have participated and donated to community events, such as Signing for Santa, Ronald McDonald House, Children’s Hospital, Cancer Fair, we have donated 10 Holiday Dinners during Thanksgiving and Christmas for the past 15 years to families who might not otherwise be able to enjoy a Holiday Feast.
Delwood also participates in other youth activities sponsored by Optimist International, www.optimist.org. You may get more information on our organization at www.sctxd.org, Zone 5.
Because we are a non-profit organization we rely solely on the sponsorships and donations we receive from businesses/organizations.
Sponsorship of a Team will ensure that your business name is on 13-15 youth Jerseys, 3-4 adult Jerseys. You will also receive a plaque to display at your business, as a token of appreciation for sponsorship of a team.
