Softball Clinic Schedule (2013)

The dates for the softball are tentative at this point so watch for any changes.  The clinics are open to all DYSA softball players at no cost.  For the younger players we will be focusing on fundamental skills and mechanics.  For the older girls, we will review the fundamentals and introduce more advanced skills.

March 9 – Throwing and Fielding

9am – 11am 12u and 6u

1130am – 130pm 8u

2pm - 4pm 10u

March 16 – Hitting and Running

9am – 11am 12u and 6u

Pitching Clinic (2013)

Girls ages 9-14 are eligible to sign up. The clinic will be held twice(2) a week for seven(7) weeks, with each class lasting one(1) hour. EACH PITCHER IS RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN CATCHER.

The girls will be divided into two groups based on age and pitching experience. The younger group will work on the fundamentals of windmill pitching, while the older group will continue to work to improve their fundamentals and also be introduced to more advanced pitches.
