We finally learned
What life is all about...
The secret of success
Comes hard....no doubt!
We trained, we sweated
We ached, we cried...
And found out we got better
Each time we tried!
We were pushed, yelled at
Preached at, too....
But the more that this happened,
the more that we grew!
"You can be anything
you want to be!"
This voice kept shouting out to us.
Yet who can we blame for such a daring approach?

Coach Tracy Shay
We are very excited to announce that Coach Tracy has been promoted to our new Varsity Comp coach! Congratulations Tracy!! The parents as well as her girls are very excited about practicing and looking forward to their new competition season next year.
Tracy coached the 1999/2000 cheer season at Owattona HS & graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2003 with a teaching degree. Coach Tracy is our new Varsity Competition Coach for the 2006-2007 cheer season. Tracy is a kindergarten teacher in Burnsville, and this will be her 3rd year as a EVHS Competition Coach. She is very excited about coaching her new squad. Tracy loves to coach and loves her girls, this is apparent by her positive style of coaching which has touched and affected both her cheerleaders and cheer parents. She also believes that the talent her new and upcoming Varsity Competition squad is amazing, and will no doubtly result in a winning season! We are all very appreciative and grateful that she has become apart of our Eastview Cheer Family. Ware all looking forward to a fun and exciting new cheer season.

Coach Amanda Reding
We are very excited to announce that Coach Amanda is our new JV Comp Coach! The parents as well as her girls are very excited to start practicing for a new cheer season.
Coach Amanda has been involved with Eastview Cheerleading for 9 years. She cheered for Eastview her Freshman through Senior years, involved in the sport program for 6 years and the competition program for 3. Amanda also cheered 1 year for the Planet Spirit All Stars. A
Amanda has coached the Varsity & JV Football squads, as well as the Varsity & JV Basketball squads. We are very excited to share and announce that Coach Amanda will be our new JV Competition Coach for the 2006-2007 cheer season. Her coaching style is very postive and our cheer parents as well as our girls are very excited to have her as their new coach. Coach Amanda has true Eastview Lightning Spirit and is really looking forward to coaching this year.

Coach Emily Judd
Our Eastview Lightning Cheerleading family is ecstatic to annouce that we have a new Varsity Basketball Cheerleading coach, her name is Emily Judd. Coach Emily is a graduate of Owatonna High School & proudly cheered for her St. Olaf College football team for 3 years. She graduated in 2003 with a double major in Dance & English, and spent one year working on her Master of Fine Arts in Dance Performance & Choreography at the University of Oregon.
Coach Emily has taught dance for the past 3 years, but is now very excited to switch gears back to her cheerleading roots to coach our Varsity Basketball cheerleaders!
She is looking forward to bonding with her new squad, and helping them create a unified team infused with athleticism, school spirit, partnership and good work ethic.
Naturaly her experience & enthusiasm will add many exciting facets to her coaching style this year and we ALL welcome her as apart of our Eastview Lightning Cheerleding family.
