Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) about Indoor Football
Who can
sign up?
Players,
ages 5-13 on or before July 31, 2012 is eligible to play regardless of
race, ethnic or nationality. We welcome diversity. Each participant must
register, and have valid Maryland Identification Card before practice. A
Maryland Identification Card must be obtained from the Maryland Motor Vehicle
Administration (MVA) and turned in to your coach or team mom by the end of the
second week of practice. For More Information click on this link ~> MVA MD State ID Information
How much
does it cost?
Basic registration
fee for football is $160.00. This fee may change from year to year so please
check the website for updated information. A separate $250.00 deposit check
will be required on equipment pick-up day for each set of tackle football
equipment issued and will be returned at the end of the season when your
child’s equipment is returned. This check is not cashed.
Can I
get a refund if my child decides not to play?
Refunds will ONLY be refunded before the first day of
practice. There will be no refunds issued after the first day of practice
regardless of when you register. All refunds issued will be subject to a $50
admin fee. This may seem harsh however as a club, we make a sizable investment
in equipment before practice begins. This equipment can not be returned to our
vendor.
How long
does the season last?
August 25th 2012. The season runs for 8-9 weeks depending on
playoffs. However we do participate in a series of Bowls and those teams advancing may be playing in Orlando, Florida during the 1st week if December. A complete schedule will be available once the league confirms the
number of teams participating.
What is
the difference between the Indoor season and the Fall/Outdoor Season? Indoor is
less intense in terms of team size, number of practices, volunteers required
etc. than outdoor. This is supposed to be relaxed and fun. The emphasis is on
playing and learning the fundamentals of tackle football. You can be assured
that your child’s safety and enjoyment are always our top priorities. The
majority of coaches are fall season coaches.
