D&D has a long history of racing and winning from Dirt Track, Motorcross, Roadracing and Enduro's going back to the 50's and 60's with Robert McLendon Sr. racing a Triumph Tiger Cub in scrambles which became motocross in later years. Dink raced motocross and enduro's in the early 70's winning the Gulf Coast Open class championship in 1981. Sister Lisa raced a BSA in the early days of AHRMA and rode Daytona in the Eighties.

Our plans for 2008 include building a new Daytona 675 engine with Triumph factory race parts and contesting the Formula Extreme class starting with Daytona in March. In other news Rob has been named AHRMA National Dirt Track Director and will be traveling around the country to promote and organize the Dirt Track Program.
