Coach Fahrner is the Head Coach of the girls varsity basketball team. In addition to girls basketball he also coaches the RM Boys Tennis and coached football for 11 years. Coach Fahrner is also a PE teacher at RM. Coach Fahrner is a RM alumus and played football, basketball and baseball while he was a student. Coach Fahrner cites his father, Carl Fahrner, a former RM basketball coach as having the biggest influence on his life. Coach Fahrner is a graduate of the University of Maryland and is a huge Terps fan.
The best part of coaching, according to Fahrner, is the kids and the excitement in the arena when they play. Also, having a key to the gym.
