* 2009 CONCESSION STAND INFORMATION*

The concession stand is the largest source of income for the softball booster club. It is easy to do and no special skills are required.

For 2009, the funds will be going towards three projects being sponsored by the Booster Club. First and foremost, each of the players will receive a free ticket to the softball banquet at the end of the season, which is scheduled to be held at Maggiano's Restaurant in Plano, TX in May 2009. Secondly, the RSB is proud to be able to provide scholarships to qualifying seniors to assist in their college endeavors. Thirdly, the 2nd of two murals has been hung on the back of the softball field press box. We have not raised enoungh money at this point to pay for the mural, that is costing $5200. In addition to the mural from 2008, this mural will add to the permanent landscape of the LHS softball program for many seasons to come. Please help us in 2009!

The funds from 2008 were spent on the breathtaking mural on the back of the softball fence, and provided entry for 18 girls to attend the end of year banquet.

With a little cooperation, everyone will get to see their daughter play her game. With the number of home games and tournaments, every parent is needed to support the program by helping to MAN THE STAND!

FOOD SAFETY CLASSES
The city of Frisco requires all persons staffing a concession stand, to have attended a Food Safety Class. Please plan to attend a 3-hour class held in downtown Frisco. To attend the class, please click on the link at the City of Frisco website at City of Frisco Food Safety
This is a really fun class, and very informative.

As of 1/8/2009, the following classes are available. When you attend a class, please send an additional email to Lori Crissup so that she can obtain the City Card to prove your attendance.
