Player of the Game Awards 2009
Game 1: JP Anderson - JP gave the Majors a 2 - 0 lead in the bottom of the first hitting a Home Run after Danny reached base. Later in the game JP also reached base on a Fielder's Choice and stole his first base of the season. A nice start for the Center Fielder.
Honorable Mention: Josh Pileggi - Josh started the opener and pitched 4 innings. He gave up 3 runs, all of which we're unearned, and struck out 6 batters.

Game 2: Danny Taormina - Danny had a great game in game 2 against the Giants. Dan was 1 for 1 with a single, 2 walks, a run scored and, 2 stolen bases. A coach can't ask for much more from his lead off batter. All in all, Danny was 2 for 4 that weekend with a pair of runs scored.
Honorable Mention: Chris Lee - It was Chris' first start as a Major and it was a beauty until his defense let him down making several errors in the 6th inning. Chris gave up 5 unearned runs in 5 and two-thirds innings pitched, allowing 3 hits, 3 walks and striking out 3.

Game 3: Joey Pileggi - Joey made his first start of the year pitching 7 strong and leaving the game tied. A 2 run homer gave the Talons a lead, but Joey would double in the bottom of the 7th, get sacrificed to 3rd and score on a sacrifice fly by Kyle Gerrard. His double was one of 2 hits the Majors had in the entire game. 7 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 0 BB, 9 K.
Honorable Mention: Kyle Gerrard - Caught a good game behind the plate, stole a base and drove in the tying run in the bottom of the 7th.

Game 4: Chris Lee - Chris pitched a gem in game 2 of the Talons series going the distance and getting the 5 - 1 win. Chris dominated only giving up 2 hits and 4 walks with 2 K's. Chris may finally be giving the Majors that 3rd starter they so badly need for a good playoff drive.
Honorable Mention: Joey Pileggi & Simon Lahay - Joey hit a 3 run double, and Simon lead off batting 2 for 4 with a double and 2 runs scored.

Game 5: Josh Pileggi - This was a real easy selection. Josh pitched a complete game allowing 3 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks, adding 2 K's along the way. At the dish, Josh was 3 for 3 with a 2 run home run, a pair of runs scored and a stolen base. He also broke out of an early season slump.
Honorable Mention: Paul Roth - Roth bounced back from a horrid start to the season going 2 for 3 with a double and a pair of RBI's.

Game 6: Paul Roth - Paul had a great weekend at the plate, finishing 4 for 6 on the day with 2 doubles and 4 RBI's. In game 2, he also started the game at pitcher, pitching 5 innings and giving up 4 runs. (3 Earned) It wasn't the best pitching performance, but he did what he was asked; throw strikes. He allowed 8 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 2.
Honorable Mention: Danny Taormina - Danny is on fire to start the year. (2 for 2 with a walk and 2 runs scored - .556 avg. so far on the season)

Game 7: Joey Pileggi - Joey pitched a complete game in a 1 - 0 loss to the win less Cubs. The offense felt they could win the game without scoring a run and it backfired. The line on Joey; 6 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 5 BB, 9 K. A sad performance by the Majors offense.
Honorable Mention: The Fans - For making the trip to Bowmanville watch an agonizing game.

Game 8: Chris Maloney - Maloney broke out of his 7 game slump in a big way, and pitched 2 perfect innings picking up 3 K's. Maloney was 2 for 3 with a double, a triple, 3 RBI's and a strikeout. Too bad it was all in a blow out.
Honorable Mention: Kyle Gerrard - He was 1 for 2 with a walk, 2 runs and a stolen base.

Game 9: Chris Lee - Chris bounced back from a rough start last week against the Cubs with a superb start against the Pirates. That being said, he absorbed his 3rd loss of the season as the Majors failed to give him even one run of support. 4 Majors were hit by pitches, but the pitcher didn't miss any of the batters so we won't report it to the league..... (6 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 3 K)
Honorable Mention: Adam Banski & Danny Taormina - Even though the pirates would have protested even if the majors won because of Banski, Banski had a 2 for 2 game and pitched a decent inning. Danny picked up 2 more hits continuing his torrid pace.

Game 10: Joey Pileggi - Joey came into pitch in the 2nd inning and dominated the Pirates, keeping the Majors within striking distance. The Majors would fall short. Joey went 2 for 3 at the dish with an RBI and a Stolen Base. He would pitch 5 and a 3rd innings, allowing 0 Runs, 1 Hit, 3 Walks and picking up 5 Strikeouts.
Honorable Mention: Simon Lahay & Adam Sawoszczuk - Simon was 2 for 3 with a Stolen Base; Adam was 0 for 0 with 3 Walks, getting an RBI on one of them.

Game 11: Josh Pileggi & Danny Taormina - Tough decision on this one, so two guys can split it. Josh showed up hung over and subbed into the game in the 3rd Inning, finishing 2 for 2 with 2 Runs scored. Danny continued his torrid streak going 1 for 2 with an RBI, and a Sacrifice Bunt.
Honorable Mention: JP Anderson - JP hit a Home Run that just barely managed to stay fair and barely managed to get over the fence. That's his 3rd HR this season.

Game 12: Kyle Gerrard - Kyle was 2 for 3 with a Stolen Base.(3) Kyle is having a decent year so far and his Catching skills continue to improve. Keep it up Kyle.
Honorable Mention: Danny Taormina - Danny now owns the Post Junior Record for Longest Hit Streak as he reached a 10 gamer this weekend. 13 is the team record overall.

Game 13: Chris Lee - Chris had some control problems early on which prevented him from going the distance in what was a good start. Chris pitched 5 and a 3rd innings, allowing 4 runs, 2 of which were earned, 2 Hits, 5 Walks, and 8 K's. Chris also had his best game at the dish going 2 for 2 with a pair of singles and a walk. Hopefully a sign that hes found his stroke.
Honorable Mention: Josh Pileggi & Ryan McNeil - Josh was 2 for 3 with a double, a walk and a pair of RBI's. Ryan hit his 1st Homerun in his 3rd game of the year, driving in 2 runs.

Game 14: Danny Taormina - Easily the Majors first half MVP, Danny continued his on base streak this weekend to 12 games, going 1 for 1 in this game with a Walk, a Run, a Stolen Base and a Sacrifice Fly. Danny continues to bat above .450.
Honorable Mention: Paul Roth - Paul hit a Double, and pitched 3 and 2 3rds innings to close out the game without allowing a run.

Player of the Game Awards 2008
Game 1: Adam Sawoszczuk - Adam pitched an outstanding game in the opener going 5 innings striking out 7 and only giving up 1 hit along the way. 5 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 7 K, W (1-0)
Honorable Mention: Joey Pileggi - 2 for 3, 2 RBI

Game 2: Mike Taormina - Mike had a bit of a rough first weekend defensively, but did end up saving a tie game with a diving play on the 3rd base line. Mike would go 1 for 3 with 2 RBI. A Fielders choice to the right side of the infield being his 2nd RBI.
Honorable Mention: Matt Maclaren - 1st hit in 2 years, good work Matt!

Game 3: Josh Pileggi - Josh pitched for the first time this season and walked away with a no decision. He did end up with 6 k's in 4 innings. A bit of a rough outing but his offense was fine. He was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a SB.
    Honorable Mention: Joey Pileggi - 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's

Game 4: Chris Maloney - Chris was hitless heading into this game but broke his slump in a huge way. He went 3 for 3 and scored twice. Hopefully this kind of hitting continues as its what the Majors were spoiled by last season.
Honorable Mention: Paul Roth, Josh Pileggi & Adam Sawoszczuk - 3 HR's and 7 RBI's combined. Roth and Sawoszczuk also pitched and held the Tigers to 2 runs.

Game 5: Simon Lahay - Not the best game for the Majors but Simon continued his hot start to 2008. Simon went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored. Simon has a 6 game hitting streak after this weekend and 8 hits total in the first 6 games. Keep it up!

Game 6: Joey Pileggi - Joey pitched a gem. A complete game where he only gave up one run also saw him record 6 k's while only giving up 3 H's and 2 BB's. The only run he surrendered was on a cheesy bloop single.

Game 7: Mike Taormina - I didn't attend these games but I can still tell you this game was horrible. The Majors only managed 3 Hits total. One of which was by Mike who also recorded the teams only RBI.

Game 8: Adam Sawoszczuk - Another bad game made for a bad weekend againest Brooklin. Adam was a glaring bright spot in this game. Coming into a game where the Majors had already given up 9 runs, Adam pitched 3.2 strong innings allowing only 2 hits and no runs. He also finished 1 for 3 with an RBI.

Game 9: Dan Taormina - Danny was hitless, but Danny walked twice, scored once and stole a base. He got the ball rolling, but no one wanted to keep it rolling. Majors lose 6 - 2.
Honorable Mention: Chris Maloney - Maloney pitched 4 strong innings in relief.

Game 10: Adam Sawoszczuk - Majors bounced back form a 3 game losing streak and took Game 2 againest the Indians. Sawoszczuk batted in the 2 hole and went 1 for 1 with 2 BB's and a run scored.
Honorable Mention: Paul Roth, Kyle Gerrard & Dan Taormina - Roth hit a go ahead solo shot in the 6th, Kyle hit a 2 run double and Danny did what he did in game one. (Walked twice and scored once)

Game 11: Jimmy McNeil - An utterly horrible game was highlighted by Jimmy's first hit in over 10 years. He also pitched for the first time and caused a couple arguments after hitting a player with a pitch after a home run. He's insistant it was an accident, and cooler heads have prevailed.

Game 12: Josh Pileggi - Josh pitched his 2nd complete game of the year in a 9 inning affair with the Mississauga Stars. Racking up 8 k's along the way, it was his first win on the season. He also had his best offensive game this season going 3 for 4.
Honorable Mention: Joey Pileggi & Chris Maloney - Pair of hits each.

Game 13: Joey Pileggi - Joey continues his hot streak at the plate going 3 for 3 with 2 HR's and 5 RBI's. The HR's were his 1stand 2nd on the year. Joey was also on the mound and pitched well into the 6th where he hit a wall and gave up 6 runs to leave the game with a tie. It would remain tied.
Honorable Mention: Dan Taormina & Chris Maloney - Pair of hits each, Maloney one inning pitched 3 k's.

Game 14: JP Anderson - Hey! The Majors actually scored a run againest the Bulls this season thanks to a solo shot by JP. The Majors managed 2 runs in their second pathetic performance this season againest the Bulls. Hopefully th next double header will be a little better.
Honorable Mention: Chris Maloney - He's on fire 2 more hits.

Game 15: JP Anderson - JP is taking advantage of being put into the 5 hole. Hes raised his average 130 points in just 3 games. JP had 3 hits, hit 2 HR's, and 5 RBI's in a slugfest. Hopefully JP has returned to form after a couple subpar seasons.
Honorable Mention: Josh Pileggi & Danny Taormina - Josh was 2 for 4 with a double and a HR. Also had 3 RBI's and a SB. Danny was 3 for 3 with a Double, an RBI, and a HBP.

Game 16: Joey Pileggi - This game goes in the books as a forfeit, but we will post the 5 innings of stats that we did complete. Joey was 3 for 3 with a HR, 3 runs scored and 2 RBI's.
Honorable Mention: Anthony Pileggi & Kyle Gerrard - If those Pileggi parents just had 6 more boys, they wouldn't need to play with anyone else. Tony went 4 for 7 this weekend with 3 RBI's. Kyle had 4 hits.

Game 17: Joey Pileggi - Joey pitched a beauty going the distance in a 3 - 0 loss. 2 of the runs scored because of a throw from catcher Kyle Gerrard who threw a ball at an empty third base. The team wasn't hitting.

Game 18: Andrew Dutra - Andrew had the best weekend offensively. In this game he was 1 for 2 with the only run scored. In game 1 he was o for o with 3 walks and a SB.

Game 19: JP Anderson - Ummm, there wasn't really any spectacular performances in this game. JP hit an RBI single to Right Center but pulled up lame and had to leave the game with a hamstring injury.

Game 20: Kyle Gerrard - Kyle had a walk and a big double to left center to drive in one. He also played catcher but made 3 errors but lets not dwell on that.
Honorable Mention: Mike Taormina - I was going to give him the POTG but I didn't. Mike had 3 productive Plate appearences. A Hit by Pitch, a Single and a FC for a RBI in the 8th.

Game 21: Kyle Gerrard - Kyle was huge againest the Durham Chiefs. The Majors only managed 3 runs and all 3 runs were driven in by Kyle. Kyle finished 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBI's as stated. Hopefully he stays hot.
Honorable Mention: Bruce Cooper, Dave Maloney & Danny Taormina - Short two players, Bruce and Dave stepped on to the field to help us out. Dave played some good first base while Bruce went 1 for 3! Danny had a great game going 2 for 3 with 2 runs and a SB.

Game 22: Ryan McNeil & Danny Taormina - This marks the first time ever that I have given myself a POTG. So rather then it just be me, I'll split it with Danny. Ryan finished 2 for 2 with a walk and a SB. He made 3 errors playing 3rd, but.....shut up. Danny was 1 for 1 with 2 walks and 2 Stolen Bases. Majors lose 10 - 1 to Bengals.

Game 23: Jimmy McNeil - Yeah somehow Jimmy has won 2 of these awards now. But I had no choice as he got the only hit in this game againest the Bengals and it was a big one. Jimmy broke a no hitter with a double to right center and broke the shutout scoring the only run for the Majors. He then pitched and caused another stir. He probably will never see the mound again haha. 11 - 1 Majors mercied by Bengals.

Game 24: Simon Lahay - Simon was on fire this weekend. In game 1, he finished 2 for 3 but had a rough game in the outfield with heavy wind and a brutal sun.
Honorable Mention: Paul Roth - Roth was 2 for 2 with a double and pitched an inning with 2 k's.

Game 25: Paul Roth - Big weekend for Roth. He finished the day 4 for 6 with a HR, a double and 2 RBI's. He also pitched in both games, picking up the win in game 2. Pitching line for the day looks like this 4 IP, 2 H, 0 BB, 4 K's, 1 R.
Honorable Mention: Simon Lahay, Ryan McNeil & Joey Pileggi - Simon, 4 for 7, Ryan, 3 for 6, and Joey, 3 for 6, BB.

Game 26: Danny Taormina - Danny was 3 for 4 in Game 1 vs the Twins. He scored a run, and drove in a pair. The team would go on to lose the game in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs, the Twins hit a 2 Run Home Run in walk off fashion.
Honorable Mention: Josh Pileggi - Pitched a complete game, but lost it in the 7th to a Home Run.

Game 27: Joey Pileggi - Joey was 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI's. He was also struck by a pitch which was a clear retaliation from the opposing pitcher as Joey hit him with a pitch in the head. (A curveball, it must of hurt) Joey started the game on the mound and lost control in the 4th inning and was eventually pulled, but he did leave with the lead. Majors lose 8 - 6.
Honorable Mention: Anthony Pileggi - Tony was 2 for 4 with 3 RBI's.

Playoff Game 1: Joey Pileggi - Joey pitched a complete game againest the Giants in game 1. Although we he had finished pitching, the Majors were losing, they would rally in the bottom of the 7th to get him the victory 4 - 3. Joey's line: 7 IP, 7 H, 3 BB, 3 ER, 9 K's. At the plate, Joey was 0 for 1 with 2 walks. (One was intentional)

Playoff Game 2: Josh Pileggi - Josh pitched a complete game through a rainy, miserable game. He pitched 5 giving up 6 hits and 2 walks to go along with 3 k's. At the plate he was 0 for 1 with a walk.

Playoff Game 3: Josh Pileggi - Man, our offense is brutal. It was brutal all year, and it was brutal all playoffs. Once again Josh pitched a complete game, but this time, lacked the run support to get a win. He pitched 7 strong through rain again. He gave up 6 hits, 3 walks and k'd 6 batters.

Playoff Game 4: Joey Pileggi - Ok so the Majors know who they have to build thier team around next season. If not for Josh and Joey during these playoffs, I don't think the Majors win a game. Joey had a rough day on the mound but at the plate got the team out to a 3 - 0 lead with a 2 run HR in the top of the 4th.

Player of the Game Awards 2007
    Paul Roth
Game 1: Paul Roth - Paul kicked off the season going 3 for 4 with a double a 2 RBI's againest the Richmond Hill Phoenix. Paul also pitched 2 innings in which he unfortunately blew a save leading to the 7 - 7 tie game.
    2 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 1 K
    Honorable Mention: Chris Maloney - 3 for 4, 2 R, SB

    Maloney
Game 2: Chris Maloney - Chris had a huge first weekend going 5 for 7 total in the series. In game 2 againest the Phoenix, he went 2 for 3 with a run scored. Not a big performance but no one else was really that great in this game. (Joey hit a grand slam but pitched terribly)
Honorable Mention: Danny Taormina - 2 for 2, R, SB, RBI

    Joey
Game 3: Joey Pileggi - Joey had a good day at the plate and pitched half decent enough to get the award. Joey was 2 for 3 with a pair of RBI's and pitched 4 innings taking the loss to the Bloor Jays. 4 IP, 6 H, 6 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K.
Honorable Mention: Chris Maloney - The Josh Pileggi of 2007. 2 for 2, 2 R, RBI, HBP, SB

    Paul Roth
Game 4: Paul Roth - Roth was 1 for 2 with his 3rd Double of the year and picked up 2 more RBI's. Roth started the game on the mound and although he had trouble with his command, he got the ball over to Sawoszczuk after 4 and 2 3rds who went on to get the win 7 - 5. 4.1 IP, 2 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 6 BB, 6 K
Honorable Mention: Josh Pileggi, Danny Taormina & Ryan McNeil - Josh hit the go ahead 2 run HR, Danny was 3 for 5 for the series, Ryan was 2 for 2, with 4 BB for the series.

    Josh
Game 5: Josh Pileggi - Josh pitched 5 Innings of a 4 - 3 loss to the Whitby Chiefs. Josh left the game with a tie game and the Majors would go on to lose in extra innings. 5 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 6 BB, 7 K
Honorable Mention: JP Anderson & Ryan McNeil - In a weekend where the majors scored 6 total runs, they managed 4 HR's. JP and Ryan both hit one in the opener of the Whitby series.

    JP
Game 6: JP Anderson - JP had a good day hitting his 2nd home run of the weekend, another solo shot, and scoring 2 runs out of the 3 the Majors managed. The game was cut off due to rain after 4 innings. Joey hit a 3 run bomb in the top of the 5th but the game was reverted to the 4th so it didn't count. 1 for 1, HR, RBI, 2 R, BB, SB
Honorable Mention: Josh Pileggi - 2 for 2, HR, RBI, R

    Joey
Game 7: Joey Pileggi - Joey had a good day on the mound pitching 4.2 Innings, giving up 13 Earned Runs......Wow thats terrible. Not sure if the stats are correct but Joey didn't have much help from his D, and was the main source of offense in this game hitting a 3 run shot. 2 for 2, HR, 3 RBI's, 2 R. 4.2 IP, 13 H, 13 ER, 3 BB, 5 K

    Paul Roth
Game 8: Paul Roth - Paul pitched well enough to get the win. Then with 2 outs in one inning, an easy fly ball is dropped allowing 2 unearned runs to score. Then the same thing the next inning allowing to more to score. On the offensive side, the Majors had no standout performances. 7 IP, 7 H, 6 R, 3 ER, 4 BB, 5 K

    Joey
Game 9: Joey Pileggi - What a garbage game for the Majors. Joey did not pitch a good game by any means but was the lone standout on the offensive side. Joey belted a 2 run double to center in the top of the 7th to take the award.

    Danny
Game 10: Danny Taormina - Danny was a scoring machine in game 2 vs. the Stars. Batting in the 2-hole, Danny was 2 for 3 with a double, 3 runs and an RBI. It was a good game for the first 7 batters of the order who were responsible for all the run production.

    Adam
Game 11: Adam Sawoszczuk - I'm gonna go with Adam in Game 11 who pitched a Complete Game to lead the Majors to their 2nd Win of the Season. All the Majors were clicking on offense which made this decision so easy. W 2 - 2, 7 IP, 9 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 3 BB, 6 K Off: 2 for 3, 2 RBI's, R, SB, SH
    Honorable Mention: Josh Pileggi - 2 for 3, 3 R, 2 RBI's, 2B, BB

    Josh
Game 12: Josh Pileggi - Josh was huge in this series. Josh hit 2 Home Runs, had 5 RBI's and 3 Hits. The Home Runs were his 3rd and 4th of the season, already passing his total from last season. 3 for 4, 2 HR, 5 RBI's, 2 R
    Honorable Mention: Kyle Gerrard & Ryan McNeil - Kyle: 2 for 3, R, 2B, 3B Ryan: 7 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 7 K, CG Shutout

    Paul Roth
Game 13: Paul Roth - Paul hit his team leading 5th double of the year and added 2 RBI's. He was 2 for 3 in the game and the main source of Offense in a 3 - 2 victory for the Majors.
    Honorable Mention: Ryan McNeil - 4 IP, 1 H, 0 BB, 0 R, 2 K (W 2-0)

    Joey
Game 14: Joey Pileggi - Joey pitched outstanding in game 2 againest the Talons recording his first win on a 9 inning complete game. The game was a pitchers duel ending in a Majors victory 2 - 1 and not a single run being earned by either team.
    Honorable Mention: Andrew Dutra - Clutch. 2 for 3, 2B, 2 RBI

    Josh
    Game 15: Josh Pileggi -

    Joey

    Paul Roth
    Game 17: Paul Roth -

    Maloney
    Game 18: Chris Maloney -

Player of the Game Awards 2006
Game 1: Garrett Nicol - Garrett went 4 for 4 with 4 runs and a double. He also had 3 stolen bases.
Honorable Mention: Will Inkley - Big Will gunned down Kyle Gerrard at second on an attempted steal. Nice job Will!

Game 2: J.P. Anderson - The best performance in a game so far this season. J.P. went 2 for 3 with a Home Run to dead center and had 6 RBI's.

Game 3: Bobby Chapman - B Chaps pulled out a gem againest the Twins Grey in a 5 inning shutout in which he gave up 3 hits and a walk to go with 8 K's. He was also 3 for 3 with 2 doubles.

Game 4: Joey Pileggi - In what was a terrble game for the Majors, Joey pitched a good game. 6 Hits, 1 Walk and a K over 5 innings of work. He gave up 4 runs 2 of which were earned.

Game 5: Josh Pileggi - Terrible just terrible. Josh wins it by default as no one else showed up to the diamond. Josh apparently recruited 8 Bocce Ball Players from out in Right field just to field a team. ( 2 for 3, 2 SB's)

Game 6: Josh Pileggi - Here's a game where Josh actually deserved a player of the game award. Josh threw the Majors 2nd shutout of the year with a 5 inning performance with 5 Hits, 1 Walk and 10 K's. He was 1 for 3 with a run and 2 RBI's at the plate.
    Honorable Mention: Joey Pileggi & Paul Roth (2 for 3, HR, 3 RBI & 2 for 3, 3B, 3 RBI)

Game 7: Nick Medeiros - Big Nick. The 15 year old Call-up went 3 for 3 with 4 RBI's in his debut. He might never play another game for the Majors White and is batting 1.000. Retire now kid your career can only go downhill buddy. (kidding, but it's true)
    Honorable Mention: Joey Pileggi - 2 for 3, 3B, HR, 3 RBI's

Game 8: Kyle Gerrard - KG hit a high fly ball to Right in the first that had to hit a huge wind gust or a hurricane or something because it some how landed on the other side of the fence for his 1st career Home Run. Kyle ended up 2 for 3 with a walk, a double, the home run and 2 RBI's. That a girl Kyle.

Game 9: Josh Pileggi - Josh had another dominating start in which the only run he gave up was a solo shot. Josh ended the outing with 4 H, 1 BB, 9 K over 5 innings.

Game 10: Paul Roth - Paul hit his first Home Run of the year and collected his first Save as well. This would be the first game of a very hot weekend for Paul who was tearing it up. Paul was 1 for 3 with 3 RBI's and pitched a scoreless 7th Inning with 2 K's.

Game 11: Chris Baran - In the first game of the Tournament againest Brampton, Chris broke out and was absolutely crushing the ball. With 2 outs and bases loaded, Chris was clutch driving in all 3 runners with a shot to center field for a double. Chris ended up 2 for 3 with 2 doubles, 4 RBI's and a walk. He also pitched a scoreless 6th Inning.

Game 12: Paul Roth - Well I said the guy was tearing it up all weekend and this proves it further. Paul continued his hot hitting by going 2 for 3 with his 2nd Home Run of the year and 4 RBI's. He also pitched 2 more scoreless Innings while Striking out 4.
    Honorable Mention: Chris Baran - 3 for 4, 2B, 2 RBI's

Game 13: Paul Roth - I don't know this guys got a very short name so I guess I just pick him because it saves time. But once again Paul and Chris were the hot hitters in this game with Paul coming out on top again. Paul was 1 for 3 with a double and an RBI on the only run the Majors scored. He also pitched an Inning and struck out the side.
    Honorable Mention: Chris Baran - 2 for 3; 3 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 4 K's

Game 14: Bobby Chapman - The sadistic pitcher BChaps was himself in this game nailing 4 batters with pitches and smiling as he drilled one in the head. Bobby won the Semi-Final game with a good performance on the mound. Over 5 Innings, he gave up 3 Hits and 2 Walks. He also had 6 K's, and 4 HBP as mentioned earlier. (0 for 3 at the plate)

Game 15: Bobby Chapman & Josh Pileggi- This was probably the hardest POTG award to pick as both Bobby and Josh could have gotten it. So instead of pick one, I'm going with a split. Bobby's first Home Run in the 3rd Inning, a called shot, broke the 0 - 0 deadlock and got the team firing on all cylinders. I said 1st Home Run because Bobby would hit a 2-run Shot later in the game. Bobby ended up 3 for 3 with 2 HR's and 3 RBI's. Josh was outstanding once again on the mound pitching 5 scoreless innings. He would also go on to hammer out his first Home Run of the season. 5 IP, 3 H, 1 BB, 6 K; 1 for 3, HR, RBI

Game 16: Josh Pileggi - After playing 6 games over the past 3 days, This was the last one and everyone was tired and slacking. Everyone except for Josh who stepped up to make sure the Majors didn't fallout of contention for the Pennant. Josh was 3 for 3 with a triple, and 2 runs scored. He also pitched 0.1 Innings to earn his 2nd win in 2 games striking out the only batter he faced.

Game 17: Josh Pileggi - Josh is on fire right now going 6 for his last 6 AB. The team only had 5 total hits in the game, and josh had 3 of them. Josh had 2 doubles and a single, also the go ahead RBI in the 6th. Josh also pitched a complete game which unfortunately turned into a loss. Josh pitched 7 strong allowing 4 runs 2 of which were earned, 5 hits, 4 walks and had 13 strikeouts!
Honorable Mention: Shaun De Oliviera - Shaun extended his 11 game hit streak to 12 with a game tying Home Run in the bottom of the 6th inning. (1 for 1, 2 BB, 1 HR)

Game 18: Aneil "Tiny" Birsa - Tiny broke open a really boring game with a bases clearing double in the 3rd inning. He was hitting the ball well all night. He also had a walk, and a stolen base. He also got caught trying to steal home. Tiny ended up 1 for 2 with a double, 3 RBI's and a walk.
Honorable Mention: Bobby Chapman - (2 for 3, 2B, 3 RBI's, if not for his terrible pitching he may have won this one.)

Game 19: Paul Roth - Mr. Roth didn't have a remarkable game or anything but had the best game in this one. Paul was 2 for 4 with an RBI and 2 stolen bases. He also collected his 2nd Save of the season in a scoreless 7th Inning. He added a K as well.

Game 20: Kyle Gerrard - Although this game doesn't exist in the standings, the 5 Innings that were played before the Majors were forced to forfeit, were the 5 best of Gerrard's season. Kyle was making the Giants look terrible on the mound racking up K's with his curveball in the dirt and fastballs off the plate. He pitched 4, had 6 K's, and gave up 4 H, 4 BB's. At the plate, Kyle was 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBI's! Also had 2 SB's.

Game 21: Josh Pileggi - Selfish. Let somebody else win an award you hog! It looks like I'm in love with this guy or something with how many times i give him this award but, once again he earned this award. Josh was a HR short of the cycle in this game going 3 for 4 with a 1B, 2B, 3B, 4 RBI's and a SB. I think the MVP race is becoming clearer, you other guys know what you have to match now.
    Honorable Mention: Will Davis - Not a bad game for wiley old Will Davis. (W 3 - 0, CG, 5 IP, 8 H, 4 ER, 2 K ---- 2 for 4, 2B, RBI, 2 SB's)

Game 22: Josh Pileggi - sigh. I wasn't actually at this one but, based on his pitching line, and the lackluster performances, it's clear Pileggi won this one as well. Josh pitched a complete game 6 Inning shut out, giving only 3 H's, and 3 BB's, along with 9 K's. He was also 1 for 3 with an RBI.
Honorable Mention: Aneil "Tiny" Birsa - Tiny hit his first Home Run of the season, a liner over the left field fence.

Game 23: Joey Pileggi - Finally!!! Someone else! How fitting that it turns out to be another Pileggi. Joey had a brutal start to this game giving a solo bomb and a pair of doubles, but would calm down to throw a complete game 7 inning gem. Over those 7, he gave up 5 H, 2 BB, 2 ER, and 12 K's! He was 2 for 4 at the dish with a double.

Game 24: Josh Pileggi - Josh pitched yet another gem againest the Giants in the city finals to make it back-to-back Championships!

Game 25: Kyle Gerrard - The guy that certain players were saying couldn't pitch or was crap, pulled out a one hit shutout following his spectacular performance againest Forest Glen a week earlier. It was a 4 Inning shutout where he gave up a single bloop hit and no walks to go along with 2 K's. Way to silence those critics Kyle that a boy!
Honorable Mention: Chris Baran - Mr. Clutch himself had 2 Doubles and 4 RBI's

Game 26: Joey Pileggi - Seems like only the pitchers win these awards, and Joey pitched in this game but also had a great game at the plate. Joey pitched 5 Innings giving 1 Run which was unearned, 4 Hits, 1 Walk and 2 K's for his 4th win on the year. He also went 2 for 3 at the plate with his 4th Home run of the year a Solo shot to left field.
Honorable Mention: Bobby "Bombs" Chapman - Bobby put a ball into orbit hitting a Home Run to Center field over the 402 ft sign. Way to go Bobby Bombs!

Game 27: Paul Roth - Roth went 3 for 3 with 4 Rbi's in one of his best performances of the year. His double in the 3rd ended the game as North Bay threw in the towel. Although hes scared to slide, i'll still give the POTG Award but he also gets the Panzy award of the year!
