Our 3v3 format is a great way to keep your player active during the Winter. KickArounds are designed to allow the players to get an exceptional number of touches on the ball in a low-threat, minimal contact, semi-competitive environment.
KickArounds run from January 3, 2009 to March 21, 2009
Some basic characteristics of the average KickArounds:
- Small-sided play (2v2, 3v3, 2v3, etc.)
- No Coaching
- Minimal physical contact
- No use of walls
- Variety of ages and skills
The following is the tentative schedule for Winter Kickarounds...
U9's/U10's -- 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
U11's/U12's -- 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
U13's/U14's -- 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
U15's & Up -- 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
The basic idea is to simulate the positive things about a pick-up soccer format, but add in some adult supervision to facilitate the session. Within appropriate age ranges, players will be separated into relatively equal teams, distributing players based on size, skills, ages. Play will last about 50 minutes with a few short breaks. Teams will rotate fields regularly throughout the session. A few players may rotate from one team to another as well.
Winter KickArounds begin on January 3, 2009 and end on March 21, 2009, for a total of 12 sessions. The cost is $130.
