As for intensity, this is not a competitive league. No scores or game records are recorded. No playoffs or championships games are played. Our primary mission here is to provide the children an environment to learn the game and to learn and improve their skills so that they have fun playing with their friends. The first week will be a clinic style session where basic basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting are taught. Players will then split up into individual teams for weekly sessions that will continue to build upon skill development as well as participate in 20-40 minute mini games (depending on the grade). The games will be another avenue to further emphasize the skills being taught.
