Mrs. Zimm's Toffee Pretzels
Toffee Pretzels
Line a large cookie sheet with Parchment Paper (so pretzels do not stick)
Put a layer of small pretzels on sheet (you can overlap some)
In a sauce pan (non-stick)
Melt 1 stick of butter (do not burn)
Add 2/3 cup of brown sugar...stir
Allow to come to a boil continuing to stir with a wooden spoon about 2 minutes (do not burn)
Turn off flame and pour in 1 T Vanilla (it will bubble and splatter)
stir well and pour over the top of the pretzels
Bake in an oven at 375 for about 8 minutes
Take out of the oven put on stove top to cool
When completely cool...break apart and EAT!
