Executive's Page
The Executive maintains, promotes and ensures that the North Dufferin Baseball League continues to provide an amateur baseball league for the area. Executive members are in frequent contact with each other throughout the baseball season and attend regular meetings of the League and special meetings of the Executive.
Through their duties, they make decisions on acceptable policies and enforce the By-Laws. They also act as convenors for the League's O.B.A. elimination tournaments and during the League's playoffs.
In addition, each member carries out certain responsibilities unique to their position.

 President:
Allan Brownridge

Allan Brownridge will be serving as the President for the 2009 season. He joined the Executive for the first time as Vice President last season.
Allan has played with the New Lowell juniors, first joining the team and League in 1996 at the age of 14. In 2000, Allan moved up to the New Lowell Knights senior team and has been on three of the Knights' championship teams. He plays first base and pitches.

 Vice President:

Peter Kinghan returns to the position of Vice President for the 2009 season. He last served on the Executive in 1999 as Past President. Peter has also served numerous years as Statistician with his last being in 2006.
Peter is currently the manager and coach of the Creemore Braves. He first joined the League in 1982 with the Creemore Barons and has played or coached the Barons, the Stayner Squires, and the Creemore Braves.
He has won numerous junior championships and has coached the Braves to four senior championships.

Myles Morrish

Myles Morrish is serving his third year on the Executive in the position of Past President. He joined the Executive in 2007 being elected as Vice President.
Myles began his playing career with the League in 1985 and has played with the Creemore Barons, the Creemore Braves, and the Lisle Astros. He is currently an assistant coach for the Creemore Braves.
Myles has been on nine championship teams during his baseball career and continues to play for the local oldtimers team - the Dufferin Simcoe Rockers.

Scott Anderson first joined the Executive for the 2007 season and has served as the League's Secretary and Statistician since. He was acclaimed to both positions for the 2009 season.
Scott has played baseball for his hometown team, the Lisle Astros as a committed player for the past five years. His first season in the League was with the Lisle juniors in 1998 when he was 11.

Dan Gowan is undoubtedly the longest and continuous serving member of the Executive. The 2009 season marks his 24th term as Treasurer.
Dan began his playing career with the Creemore Barons in 1978 and played two years with the New Lowell Knights before returning to his hometown team, the Creemore Braves, in 2000.
Dan has been on 13 championship teams over his career. He is also a member of the Dufferin-Simcoe Rockers oldtimers team.

 York-Simcoe Representative:

Paul Carruthers returns to the position of York-Simcoe Representative for the 15th term since the position was created in 1994.
Paul joined the League in 1979 as a coach with the Stayner juniors. He would later coach the Stayner senior team. Paul has also served numerous times as President.
Paul continues to play and coach with the Dufferin-Simcoe Rockers and is currently the President of the Canadian National Olidtimers' Baseball Federation.
