Olney Blaze Fraternity
The Olney Blaze Alumni Group will be established in the very near future for those players who have started out with the Olney Blaze Football Organization in the Innaugural Season of 2005. Currently, there are 12 players still with us and we will honor them in a ceremony in January of 09'. Criteria for other football players to become alumni will be forthcoming in the next several weeks. Stay tuned for more details as this group will be a special one and those who will be added in the future will also be worthy as they will have met certain criteria.
The following will be some of the criteria:
(1) Entire Career with The Olney Blaze Football Organization
(minimum of "5" full years)
(2) Foundation Players (players who are currently still with us) are
automatic because they have been here since it all started
(3) Any player who has played at least "5" years with us and has been
approved by another alumnus
(4) Position requirements:
a) Quarterbacks-minimum of 40 TD's and an avg. of "10" a year
b) Runningbacks-minimum of 30 TD's and an avg. of "8" a year
c) Fullbacks-minimum of 15 TD's and an avg. of "3" a year
d) Wide Recievers-minimum of 25 TD's and an avg. of "5" a year
e) Tight Ends-minimum of 16 TD's and an avg. of "4" a year
f) Offensive Linemen-mimimum of "5" years of service
g) Defensive Linemen-minimum of "5" years of service and/or a
mimimum of 20 sacks and an avg. of "5" per year
h) Linebackers-minimum of 5 years of service
i) Defensive Backs-10 INT's and an avg. of "2" per year; also "5"
years of service
j) Coaches-minimum of "5" years of service
Note: everyone must have an attendance rate of 2/3 rds present
