
Scott Aguglia has been involved in Semi-Pro football for 12 years. Scott's first 5 years were as a player in the New England Football league and his last 7 have been spent as an Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach for both the Vermont Ice Storm and Plattsburgh North Stars of the EFL.
As a coach, Scott has earned two EFL Championships and 2 National Championships. His teams have been invited and traveled to Florida for post season National Championship games three times.
In making the transition to Head Coach, Scott will lean on his experiences with previous North Star Head Coach and current team General Manager, Pat Keleher as well as his time spent with former Vermont Ice Storm and Plattsburgh North Star Head Coach Doug "Doc" Perez. A hard work, disciplined, "no excuses" attitude will be expected of all players.
Scott is a former C.V.A.C. All-Star football player and multi-sport athlete from Beekmantown High School. Scott was an original member of the Vermont Ice Storm in 2001, and was an All-Star receiver in four of his five seasons playing for Vermont. In 2003, Aguglia was named the team's Co-Offensive MVP along with his Quarterback and in 2005, Scott was given the Ice Storm's highest honor when he was named "Mr. Ice Storm", an award given for Loyalty, Proficiency, Teamwork, and Spirit. In 2006, Scott made the transition from player to coach when he became the offensive coordinator for the Storm.
Scott works in advertising and resides in the city of Plattsburgh. In addition to his coaching duties, Scott will serve as the North Stars Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
