Program Description of Instruction
Martial Arts training has been recommended by children's doctors and psychologists to help with childhood development. Our martial arts programs will develop self-confidence, self-awareness, improve physical fitness, and social development. These qualities have established our training centers as the top martial arts training center in the county. Team Torres has been voted Burlington County Times Best Karate School (3) years in a row by Burlington County Times Readers.
Team Torres Martial Arts Training bear the responsibility to help those who are in search of the mental elements, better physical fitness and desired self-confidence. The center provides guidence for these individuals in training them to achieve their goals. Classes are offered in basic and advanced class in Tae Kwon Do and Tang Soo Do Karate. The program is open to children 3 years and up including adults. Students will learn proper punching and kicking techniques as well as blocking techniques. Conditioning is a major emphasis in the training programs. The program will provide individuals with the highest quality instruction and give them the chance to learn effective self-defense skills that might come in handy in crucial circumstances.
For other students, training at the Team Torres Martial Arts Training Facility can be a vechile to the Olympic Games as Tae Kwon Do is now a full-medal sport in the Olympics.
Each year current enrolled students will have the opportunity to be selected for that years "State Team" which will compete in the AAU and USTU state championships. Those students who finish in the top "8" will have the chance to compete in the National Championships and Junior Olympic Games.
Weapons classes are also offered here at the center. Instructional classes are offered in staff, sai's, nunchukas, and kamas.
