The Stars 2008 1ST Annual Golf Classic
The Stars hosted their fist annual golf tournament to raise money for the up coming season. The tournament was be held on Saturday morning, March 15th, at Iron Horse Golf Course in North Richland Hills. Individual awards were given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. A Taylor Made putter was given away, for the closest to the hole award, on one of the par 3s and a Cleveland wedge was given away for to the long drive competition winner. The Stars also sold raffle tickets and muligans for a chance to win other prizes including a one night weekend stay at the Marriot Courtyard Fossil Creek and other golf related goodies. A hamburger buffet was served following the golf event, where awards and prizes were given out.
