14U Softball

Ages: 13 & 14 years         Those born in the years 2005 & 2006

Seasons Offered: Spring and Fall Season

14U Overview:
The 14U players will participate in the NCCGSL Competitive Girls Softball League. The rules are generally unchanged from 12U except for 43' pitching distance. For more information about schedules, rules, standings, and directions to county fields, please visit the North County Site: www.nccgsl.org

Spring Season: Cost $135 softball plus annual $85 CAC Family fee 

Spring Season Time Commitment:
• Mid/Late March thru Late June
• Practices and Games: 1-2 weeknights plus Saturdays, at the discretion of the coach
• Optional Winter Clinics start in January
• Games: start mid-April, Half in Crofton, Half in Mid and Northern Anne Arundel County

Fall Season: Cost $TBD
Fall Season Time Commitment:
• Labor Day through end of October
• Practices: Weekday and Frequency determined by the coach
• Games: Sundays at 1 pm or 3 pm, Half in Crofton, Half in Middle to Northern Anne Arundel County

Equipment Needed:
• Glove
• Rubber Cleats
• infielders face mask STRONGLY recommended but not mandatory.  
• Bringing your own batting helmet is STRONGLY recommended for health and safety reasons, though CAC can provide upon request.  Needs NOCSAE symbol and facemask.  

Spring Uniform: Jersey, pants, socks and visor are provided

Fall Uniform: Jersey, pants socks and visor - Provided by CAC
