The executive maintains, promotes, and ensures that the North Dufferin Baseball League continues to provide an amateur hardball league for the area. Executive members are in frequent contact with each other throughout the baseball season and attend regular meetings of the league and special meetings of the executive.

Through their duties, they make decisions on acceptable policies and enforce the League By-Laws. While member teams make many of the decisions for the league at regular meetings, the executive have duties they carry out including disciplinary actions and appeals.

In addition, each member carries out certain responsibilities unique to their position and act as convenors during the playoffs.

Since 1975 the positions of vice president, president, and past president constitute a three-year term. The position of vice president is open for election each year, with the person holding the position the previous year moving to president and then to past president. This practice allows for continuity and experience on the executive and a knowledge base to make decisions. There is no limit to the terms elected on the executive. Elections for the positions of secretary and treasurer also occur each year.

The league has one officer consisting of the statistician. The statistician creates the schedule, receives game reports, and updates the league website with game results and statistics. A stats report is created at the end of each season. Elections for the position occur each year.
