Website Updated!
February 17, 2008 --
Game results have been updated through the Durham West tournament, scoring info for the tournament will be added shortly. We did not receive a scoresheet for the last game of the Scarborough tournament, a 5 -3 loss to Cornwall. We believe our goal scorers were Sarah, Ainsleigh, and Bethany. If anyone can remember back that far please let me know via e-mail (if we end up with suggestions for 14 goal scorers and 22 assists, we will know that we have some creative memories on our team).
The webmaster apologizes for the delay, and promises to do better keeping the site updated as we head into the playoffs and playdowns. GO WOLVES!!!!

Wolves Help Out At Christmas
December 13, 2007 --
The Wolves have been busy preparing to help those who are less fortunate. Following their Rock Climbing session the girls worked together to make candy-cane reindeer. At the Whitby Tournament they were very successful selling these ornaments, raising $400.00. Great job girls! A team sponsor agreed to match 50% of the total, so there was a total of $600.00 raised. After Power Skating today the girls went to Walmart to purchase toys which will be donated to the CHUM Christmas Wish toy drive. The girls had fun shopping together, but more importantly had the opportunity to share in the joy that comes from helping others.
Coach Oliver comments, "It's nice to see how the parents and players came together to put somebody less fortunate ahead of their/our busy schedule. We are helping, as a team, to ensure that some people much less fortunate than us actually get A Christmas gift! Great job! I'll be happy/proud to report at the coaches meeting this week that our team has stepped up to the plate and did some fundraising for the community."
More pictures are posted in the Photo Album.

Team Slogan Selected
October 4, 2007 --
The creative gears were in motion. The deliberations were serious. The competition was fierce, but there was no sneaky politics (Melissa was seen collecting money after the vote, but she assures us that she was just selling chocalate bars). The winner has been selected! After a close vote...
"Mess with me, Mess with Peewee B"
..was chosen as the motto for the practice jerseys. Thanks to the girls who came up with suggestions, and to everyone for participating. The motto will be on the practice jerseys soon, and will have a prominent place on our website.

Euchre!!!
September 23, 2007 --
Frank is the Euchre King (in more ways than one)! Holly overcomes playing with the Euchre King to win top female (with honourable mention to Coach Olivia - on loan to the 'other side' for the evening). Martin proves the old maxim that nice guys do indeed finish last. Coach Mike didn't win.
Thanks to Ian and Tracy for organizing and hosting a fun evening. A good time was had by all, and some money was raised for the team - Treasurer Dave is auditing the amount, along with the scorecards.
