    Seguin TX -3/11/06:
Elite Ladies, we battled with some of the Best Teams in Texas. We finished 9th out of 25 teams but we can and will do better. Continue to work hard!

    McKinney TX - 3/25/06:
Elite Ladies, we seen the Best Teams in our area. We finished 4th out of 10 teams. We seen some great hitting & pitching. We will continue to focus on all of the game. We have to remove the errors from our Defense! Don't settle for less and remember to play hard on every play!

    Southlake TX - 4/21/06:
Elite Ladies, you continue to surprise everyone! We played our first 12U 'A' Tournament this past weekend and you all played awesome! Our pitchers did an outstanding job! We were always in the game with a chance to win, that is saying a lot. We battle with some of the best 12U teams in the State. Continue to work hard and please continue to HIT the BALL!

    Austin TX - 4/28/06:
Elite Ladies, not all of us got it done at the plate this weekend. We have got to get the job done when we have runners in scoring position. Our Pitchers and Defense looked great. We need all 3 to come together as 1 UNIT. Let's continue to work hard and improve! Just remember, YOU can make a difference on this TEAM!

    Mesquite TX - 5/13/06:
Elite Ladies, we seen some real good things this past weekend in the Friendly! We also seen some things we can improve on! Remember, continue to work harder and make an impact on this team! We must continue to get better every game on every pitch! We have to start to make the up turn! Keep working hard ladies!!

    Irving TX - 5/19/06:
Elite Ladies, we played some really great ball this weekend until the last 2 games of the Tournament. We have to play with the same intensity every game! Keep working hard and never give up on yourself or your team! Just keep telling yourself you can make an difference on this team!

    Longview TX - 6/2/06:
Elite Ladies, we are all very proud of you for playing with so much heart this past weekend in Longview. You played some of the best teams in the State to move on to the Championship game. Even playing till 3:00am you still showed a lot of heart. We will see what we can do in State in 2 weeks, keep playing with the intensity level you showed and the winning will take care of it's self. Keep telling yourself you can make a difference on this team!

Congratulations to the '95 Texas Glory for earning your berth to Moline, Illinois.

    Sugar Land TX - 6/16/06:
Elite Ladies, we did not get it done but we are not done yet. To score 16 runs and give up 2 with a 1-1 record and end up in 5th place is not what we were after. We feel like if we could have played it out that we would have earned our Berth. Keep your heads up and let's stay focused on what we have to do.

    McKinney TX - 6/30/06:
Elite Ladies, we did not get it done at the USSSA 10U 'A' State Tournamnet. We have got to start peaking soon and be ready for Nationals.

    Moline IL. - 7/31 thru 8/6:
All in all our team did very well. We only had 9 players and a few of them got banged up from being hit with a pitch or the tag being applied very hard. Some of these players played hurt but never once gave up and battled on every pitch! The support from our Parents is the greatest no matter if we win or lose! To Coach Billy and Richard, GREAT JOB GUYS and thank you for
all you did this year! We are considered to be the 13th best team in the NATION!

    10U 'A' ASA Nationals!!

    Pool Games Schedule

    Bracket Game Schedule

Our First Pool Game is on a local TV Station (WGN) in Moline at 9pm on 8/2/06!! This is the first time they have ever had a game on TV at a National Tournament here in Moline!

Saturday (7/29): We spent most of the day in down town Chicago, what a great place to visit!! We are now in Moline, we got checked in and it is a nice place (Sleep Inn & Suites) The girls are having a blast but are getting ready for the task at hand, time for bed and good night all!

Sunday (7/30): We arrived at the fields at 7:45am this morning for Practice. Practice went very well... We are looking forward to a Scrimmage with the American Athletics at 2pm today. It is very HOT here for some reason.

We had a great Scrimmage with American Athletics! We did not do to well with the nerves of being in the Big Show. We did not hit the ball like we know how and lost 3-1! Thanks AA's for the great game!

Monday (7/31): We had a great practice this morning, American Athletics, shared a field with us and everyone hit the ball really well, now we have to take that to the plate tomorrow! It is only 100 degrees right now with a Heat index of 107. It must cool down sometime this week.

Tuesday (8/1): Let's play ball!! Pool play started at 8am today! We play our first pool game against the Pleasant Valley Spartans.

We started off the day at 12pm with a great hitting game against the Pleasant Valley Spartans, our sister team. Kelsey 'KiKi' Langford hit one OVER the fence. Mac hit the fence about 3/4 of the ways up and Big E one hopped the fence! All 9 hit the ball and hit it hard. We will have photo's very soon on the web site.
    - Elite - 9 Spartans - 1

We played (Again) the American Athletics and did not give them our best game. We can and will play better than we did at 4pm today. Great Job Athletics we will be looking for you again. So, with that we are a number 2 seed in our pool game.
    - Elite - 1 Athletics - 7

We will play the Attitude Fastpitch at 1pm on Wednesday.

Wednesday (8/2): Our Players are ready for the task at hand. We went to the Plate 28 times with 1 Strike Out against us in our first bracket game. McKensey 'Mac' Heins hit one OVER the fence!! KiKi and Mac had a great time on the mound allowing only 2 hits. With 20 minutes left in the game Mallorie 'Mal' Puckett hit the top of the fence in Center field driving in Mikayla 'Mik' Nairn with a stand up double that ended the game with a run rule!
    - Elite - 8 Attitude Fastpitch - 0

'95 Texas Elite will be on the front page of the News Paper tomorrow!

We will play the Cedar Rapids Blue Devils at 10am on Thursday.

Thursday (8/03): Well, things did not go as planned today. We did not get it done at the plate, we had 9 strike outs and that is not the way we do business. We had practice this afternoon to get refocused at the plate, we know what we need to do now that we are in the loser's bracket. It is DO or DIE! We must start clicking on all cylinders! We must start playing our best ball!!
    - Elite - 1 Cedar Rapids Blue Devils - 3

We will play the McDonough Bobcats at 9am on Friday.

Friday (8/04): Well, we came to play ball today, we are not ready to use our airline tickets yet! We started out with the McDonough Bobcats this morning at 9am. The bats are on FIRE! Mattie 'Hammer' Miller hit back to back HOME RUNS! We had 32 at bats with 0 strike outs. Mac had 7 strike outs and 1 walk while Ki Ki pitched to 2 batters and K'ed them both to end the game.
    - Elite - 20 McDonough Bobcats - 0

Now we face the Sterling Steam at 1pm today. We started the game a little behind the pitcher but it did not take long before we caught up with her. We started hitting the ball and hit it hard! Our 8 & 9 hitters are on fire! Missy and Mik are killing the ball, keep it up Ladies!
    - Elite - 9 Sterling Steam - 1

We will play the Hearts of Texas at 8am on Saturday.

Saturday (8/05): 1st Game: We had a great game at the plate against the Hearts of Texas this morning. We did very well on waiting for our pitch to hit. All 9 Elite players had a hit in this game.
    - Elite - 15 Hearts of Texas - 2

2nd Game: We battled hard with the All American Sports Academy going 1 to 1 until the 5th when they came alive with the bats. A few bad calls here and there by the umpires and we could not recover.
    - Elite - 1 All American Sports Academy - 7

All in all our team did very well. We only had 9 players and a few of them got banged up from being hit with a pitch or the tag being applied very hard. Some of these players played hurt but never once gave up and battled on every pitch! The support from our Parents is the greatest no matter if we win or lose! To Coach Billy and Richard, GREAT JOB GUYS and thank you for all you did this year! We are considered to be the 13th best team in the NATION!
