70lb Select- Pasadena 37 Hawks 18- Temari Parker scored 3 touchdowns and ran for well over 150 yards but 2 kick-off returns and an interception return for touchdowns by their opponent doomed the 70lbers.
80lb Select- Pasadena 13 Hawks 0- On the opening drive of the game the Hawks defense led by Demorie Carey stopped Pasadena on 4 plays inside the 5 yard line. Unfortunately the Hawks offense was stopped deep inside our own territory which led to the opponents getting their first score. The Hawks defense was outstanding in the 2nd half holding Pasadena scoreless and forcing 2 turnovers. The offense showed some spark in the 2nd half but unfortunately could not convert those turnovers into scores.

70lb Select- UQA 14 Hawks 0- The first game for our little guys and although they played hard, they ran up against a good Lions team.
80lb Select- UQA 19 Hawks 0- A much closer game than the score would indicate. Things just didnt go the Hawks way today. Hats off to UQA who capitalized on penalties and good field position.
90lb Select- UQA 25 Hawks 19 OT- Another tough close loss for the 90lb team. Outstanding first half effort turned in by Lovell Alexande. Travis Belt ran up and down the field. Alexande ran for 3 TD- Darnell Creek anchored the big D down with a several hard hitting tackles.
100lb Select- Hawks 19 UQA 13- A well-played game from both teams.

80lb Select- Hawks 7 Old Mill 6- The 80 lb team travelled to Old Mill to face the Patriots in season opener. One big play by the Patriots just before halftime and Old Mill took a 6-0 lead into the break. The Hawks defense stiffened in the 2nd half shutting the Patriots attack down. A tremendous late 4th quarter drive was capped by a touchdown run by Marquis Travis which tied the score at 6-6. QB Rich Dion then took the extra point in to give the Hawks a hard-fought 7-6 victory. The offensive line was outstanding all game.The Hawks line consisted of Dakota Thompson,Ty Carroll, Will Spanoghe, Alex Jennings, Alex Hill, Parker Lewis, and DJ Turner.
90lb Select- South River 13 Hawks 6- The Hawks dropped a close one to the Gators at PAL Park in the opener for both teams. It was a hard hitting contest. Players of the game for the Hawks were Darnell Creek and Lovell Both. Creek led the Hawks with 6 unassisted tackles from his middle linebacker position.

135lb- Rec A- Hawks 29 Lake Shore 0- The Hawks 135 Rec A Team dominated the Lake Shore Panthers winning 29-0 Saturday at PAL Park.RYAN COCHRAN OPENED THE GAME WITH A 74 YD KICKOFF RETURN FOR A TD! HE ALSO HAD A 48 YD TD RUN. ROBERT FOX Had 1 carry - A 46YD TD RUN.
The DEFENSIVE PLAY OF GAME WAS TURNED IN BY DEWAYNE BOOZE. He STRIPPED the Panther QB OF BALL AND RAN It BACK 39 YDS FOR ANOTHER HAWK TD.
DAN NOWICKI LED THE HAWK DEFENSE AT MIDDLE LB WITH 8 SOLO TACKLES AND 5 ASST. HE ALSO SCORED 5 PTS ON PAT'S.
