Our Philosophy
The Bakersfield Heat Premier AAU Girls Basketball Club is a highly competitive youth basketball program that maintains integrity as a priority at all times. We provide the best possible facilities, equipment, training, and coaches so that all players can achieve competitive greatness and maximize their individual athletic and personal potential. Our goal is to work towards significant improvements each and every outing as a player, a team, a coach, and an organization, thus abiding by our motto “Better today, but not as good as tomorrow.” We maintain a focus on developing solid fundamentals for each player, coupled with sound basketball strategy from very experienced coaches, which provides each player with preparation for their basketball future, and each team with the opportunity to succeed in tournaments. The Heat continues to foster an environment of camaraderie and lasting friendships for the girls that result from being a part of an elite, travelling athletic team. Finally, we offer opportunities for older, talented players to be exposed to college scouts through strategically selected playing venues.
