Frequently Asked Questions
What is the general schedule this season?
The "House League" season runs from Late April through Late June. Games are generally played on Tues./Thurs. evenings at 6:30 pm. PONY division games are played through the Westside league from early-June through mid- July. There is a competitive playoff at the conclusion of that season.
When does the season begin? The 2009 season will begin May 12th with Picture Night prior to their first game & will completed the last week of June. Playoffs for ages 11-12 will immediately follow.
Where are the games played?
Home games are played at either Sanford Road Park (ages 9-12 & 5-6), Buffalo Road Park, next to Highway Dept. (ages 7-8).
Can my daughter play baseball instead of softball?
Absolutely, Girls are welcomed to play baseball.
What division will my son/daughter be playing?
Divisions are grouped by the age level of the children. The level your child will play is determined by thier birth date as of May 1st. A few kids are allowed to "play-up" a division if they have exhibited the ability and maturity to perform at that higher level and with the approval of their parent(s) or guardian.
T-Ball: Ages 5-6
T-Shirt: Ages 7-8
LL Minors: Ages 9-10
LL Majors: Ages 11-12
Crosstown Minors: Ages 13-14
Crosstown Majors: Ages 15-17
What equipment does my son or daughter need?
A glove; sneakers, molded cleats are recommended but not required, metal spikes are strictly prohibited; bats, catchers equipment, balls & uniforms are supplied.
