Parents, Players, and Coaches:
The Lombard Baseball League is a non-profit organization that is operated solely by volunteers. As the largest affiliated member of the Lombard Park District, the league works closely to improve the quality of our program in cooperation with the Park District.
The Park District has many requirements of groups such as ours, one of which is NYSCA (National Youth Sports Coaching Association) training. All managers in the league must receive this training and agree to all areas covered in the training prior to being privileged to manage a team.
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the Coaches, Parents, and Players Code of Ethics Pledges from the NYSCA manual. Have a safe and fun baseball season.
The purpose of the Lombard Baseball League, Inc. shall be to implant in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, competition, loyalty to cause, pride in achievement, recognition of the rights of others and respect for authority.
