\Vol`un*teer"\, n. One who enters into, or offers for, any service of his own free will. A person who renders aid, performs a service, or assumes an obligation voluntarily…
Kinda similar to being a triathlete huh?? Could you even consider yourself a triathlete if you weren’t also a volunteer??? Volunteering your time…volunteering your sweat…and, most definitely, volunteering your body. The best part of being a volunteer, however, has got to be the satisfaction of giving something back to whatever it is that you thoroughly enjoy. The team at LFTC strives to promote these types of characteristics by recruiting its own brand of volunteers…
LFTC needs volunteers to assist with various duties and responsibilities during races, meets, you name it, so that we can give back to the community and the events that we love. So if you, or anyone that you may know whether member of LFTC or not, would like to offer up some free time to help out wherever necessary, feel free to contact Roy Rahmati at royrahmati@hotmail.com or (301) 607-6453.
Remember to always have fun and;
“If a country can't save itself through the volunteer service of its own free people, then I say: Let the damned thing go down the drain!” -Robert Heinlein
