2006 Season
Plainwell, MI - The season opener went for the Galesburg-August Rams (8-9 year olds) went very well. The Rams defeated the Trojons 18-14. We moved the ball extremly well during the opening drive until a Plainwell recovered and returned a fumble ~70 yards for a TD. G-A came right back in the 2 quarter pinning Plainwell deep on thier side of the field when Zack Harris broke a tackle and scored puting the Rams on the board.
In the 3rd Quarter, G-A broke the game open on a long run by the workhorse Dillion Whipple followed quickly by a QB sneak from a yard out by Zack Wortinger.
The whole game G-A's Defense played extremly tough, but during the final seconds (5 seconds) of the game, after holding Plainwell's offense out of the endzone all day, G-A finally surrendered a TD making the final score appear closer than it really was.
Zack Mobley had several carries as RB, the longest of about 7 yds, and did a great job lead blocking for Whipple and Tyler Pawlawski. On defense he (as Defensive Tackle) lead the teams tough middle, breaking up several plays in the backfield and recording several tackles for a loss. It's very clear this is where he enjoys playing the most.
Galesburg-Augusta's record is 1-0.

\The 2005 season is the inagural outing for our very own Galesburg-Augusta NFL Flag Football. The kids are having fun and have done a great job learning the basics of football.
We were sponsored by the Cincinati Bengals, and provided with reversable Bengals jerseyss, flags, and 2 Bengal footballs. We played in the Rookie division (6-8 year olds).
The team went undeafeated (5-0)

The 2004 season was the inagural outing for Battle Creek Parks and Recreation in the world of NFL Flag Football. They did a great job and as a whole the entire experience was a positive one.
We were sponsored by the Tennessee Titans, and provided with reversable Titans jerseyss, flags, and 2 titans footballs. We played in the Rookie division (6-8 year olds).
