About Us
Kevin Jackson envisioned a youth football league in Moreno Valley that would bring the fun and excitement of tackle football to the city of Moreno Valley.  In the last 20 years, some 5,000 players and cheerleaders have participated in the Moreno Valley Junior All American Football & Cheer. 

Today, Moreno Valley JAAFC fields between 6-8 teams in 2 divisions for youth between the age of 8 - 14 years.  It's up to all of us to ensure that this league continues for yet another 20 years as we endeavor to teach our youth the values of commitment, teamwork, sportsmanship, endurance, physical conditioning and a winning spirit.


Our Founder
Kevin W. Jackson has been involved in youth sports and activities for more that twenty years.  The activities include coaching football, basketball, Cub Master for Pack 1760 of the Boy Scouts of America, and served as president of Moreno Valley Junior All-American Football.  He is married of 26 years to his wife Donna, with two sons.  Both sons have received full scholarships to play football at the University of Hawaii and North Dakota State University respectively.  His oldest son graduated in 2004 from University of Hawaii and signed a professional contract with the Green Bay Packers.  His youngest son is scheduled to graduate from North Dakota State University in spring of 2008.  

He has lead by example, the President and CEO of Steps Ahead Non Profit Organization, a graduate of California State University at Long Beach, and a professional actor that has work on various projects in Film/Television, and Theatre.

The Steps-Ahead Organization

Is a Non-Profit Organization that assists high school and junior college athletes in the recruiting process.  They provide information specifically designed to meet each individual's need for preparation to succeed in the matriculation process to college, as well as to succeed academically and athletically at the college level.  They have expanded and broadened their scope to satisfy the ever-changing requirements of the NCAA and NAIA governing bodies.

"Steps-Ahead" will guide you through the educational and recruiting process.  They will give you information to empower you with insightful knowledge that will help you succeed.
Steps-Ahead was organized to give student athletes the opportunity to obtain a college education through sports, with knowledge of the recruiting process.  "Steps-Ahead" has assisted a number of high school and junior college athletes acheive their goals of attending a major college or university.  Insititutions at which their clients have continue with their education and careers include University of New Mexico, University of Montana, North Dakota State University, University of Hawaii, University of Alabama, New Mexico State University, Tiffin University (Ohio), University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, University of California at Riverside, University of Oregon, Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo and Utah State University.  Let them walk you through the process.
