2009 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS INFORMATION IS NOW AVAILABLE.
ENTRY DEADLINE:
All pre-applications are due no later than April 1, 2009.
LATE FEES:
Applications received after April 1, 2009 will be assessed a ($25.00) LATE FEE (no exceptions). Any applications received after April 1 will be deemed at the door registration. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ISSUED FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER!!

ELIGIBILITY:
Qualifications to the NAFMA National Championships
Are determined from the following 4 ways:
a.) State Championship
b.) Regional Championship
c.) Returning NAFMA National Champion
d.) Director Special Invitation Recipient
State and Regional Championships:
These events may qualify the top (8) athletes from
Each appropriate age and division category to
participate in the NAFMA National Championships.
NAFMA MEMBERS:
Registered NAFMA members will receive an extended $90 pre-registration grace period till April 1, 2009.
AGE DETERMINATION:
Athletes shall compete at their age as of May 22, 2009.
RULES:
NAFMA competition rules are in effect as documented in the NAFMA Rule book. This can be obtain through the website at www.nafma.org.
EQUIPMENT:
Please refer to the NAFMA rule book for specifics on mandatory and optional equipment for all sparring.
AWARDS:
Weapons divisions will award a Custom Sword to all 1st place winners.
Forms divisions will award 6ft Trophies to all 1st place winners.
Sparring Divisions will award National Title Belts to all 1st place winners.
Team Sparring Divisions will award Gold Cups to all 1st place winners.
Silver and bronze medals will be awarded to 2nd thru 4th place winners.

The Sheraton Hotel & Resort will serve as the host venue for this event. Please call (609)344-3535. You must mention NAFMA- North American Federation of Martial Arts National Championships when booking the room. The room rate special is $179.00 per night.
SPECIAL NOTICE: The NAFMA Hall of Fame Banquet and End of the Year Celebration will be held with National Championship week. This event will be held at 8pm on Saturday May 23 at the “Official Host Hotel” Sheraton Hotel & Resort. Tickets can be purchased for $75.00. This is a “black tie” affair. Come out and honor the 2009 Hall of Fame Inductees and special award recipients at this gala event.
