2009 Cheer Competition
We are very proud of our Mitey Mite and Jr. Pee Wee Cheerleaders who were absolutely spectacular at this year's Cheer Competition! The Jr. Pee Wees finished 4th out of 14 teams finishing 1-point short of advancing. WE ARE ALL VERY PROUD OF OUR GIRLS AND WE THANK YOU FOR BEING THERE TO HELP LEAD THE CROWN IN CHEERING ON OUR BOYS!
Parkland Rangers Pop Warner Cheerleading Program
Cheerleading was officially recognized in the 1970's, but has been a part of the Pop Warner program for several decades. The first ever National Cheerleading competition was held in DeKalb County, GA. Today, 160,000 children are participating in cheerleading and dance around the United States.
The Parkland Rangers are very proud to be a part of the Pop Warner Cheerleading and dance Programs. Participation in the Parkland Rangers Cheerleading Program provides kids an opportunity to perform in an organized, supervised, safety-oriented environment. Our Cheerleading programs emphasize fun for all and encourage the development of qualities important long after Pop Warner days are gone.
