The Boosters is a separate entity from the PYH Hockey program.  For those who are not familiar with the PYH Boosters, we are a non-profit committee that raises money in a variety of ways and invests this money back into the program and the kids. 

The PYH Boosters provide the following services for the kids and parents of PYH:

1.      Provide scholarships for high school seniors who have participated in PYH past and present

2.      Purchase items for the program – game and practice shirts, pennies, socks, new nets, goalie equipment, etc. 

3.      Provide soda for the parents/workers at Saturday bingo

4.      Send sick/injured children and/or parents of children a card and small gift

5.      Coordinate team and individual pictures (usually in October)

6.      Make donations and/or send flowers upon the death of a program family member

7.      Host/contribute to special events for the kids and families – this includes ‘Santa’ at the practices for the younger players

8.      Purchase Holiday gifts for all children in the program

We raise money by selling the raffle tickets at Bingo every other week (PYH Hockey does alternating weeks) and by conducting one fundraiser a year.  If you have any questions or want to join (we are always in need of new members), please feel free to contact anyone on the list.
