As stated in our mission statement, our organization's main goal is to improve each of our player's basketball skills. We want to help our players become better ball-handlers, shooters, passers, rebounders, defenders, and most importantly teammates.
During our AAU season (which usually runs from March through the summer), we have each of our teams practice at least two times per week. Each practice consists of both drills to improve basketball fundamentals and scrimmages to put those basketball fundamentals into action.
In addition to practice, we play in tournaments on the weekends. These tournaments are very competitive and are all relatively local.
Once the tournament schedule ends, there is the possibility of playing in a summer league.
The Pittsburgh Pride coaching staff is very committed to helping the players reach their basketball potential.
Likewise, players must also be committed to reaching their basketball potential by working hard each and every practice and game.
Additionally, the Pittsburgh Pride offers 1-on-1 training, speed/agility/quickness training and conditioning, and basketball skills clinics.
