Rule #1
PRACTICE IS A MUST!!!!
I expect every player to be at every practice. The only way we can become a better team is to practice together. We
are now at the age where hockey becomes a serious sport. If you plan to
be a serious player I expect to see you at every practice.
If you think you can miss practice and come to games expecting to play....THINK AGAIN!
We are a team first and we practice as a team.

Rule #2
Respect Coaches and Officials
Any player who is given a misconduct by an official will also be disciplined by the coaching staff. Your job is to play hockey, leave the talking with officials to the coaches. Stupid penalties are the one thing that hurts a team the most. Do your part to stay away from dumb penalties.
|
Rule #3
Dress Code
Every player will dress the same for every game. We are a team and I expect you to dress like a team.
No player will be allowed to play with mis-matched uniform parts.
This means if we are wearing our black jersey and you don't have yours, you will not play.
You must have matching socks or you will not play.
The only color tape allowed on your socks is clear or the same color as your socks.
One the most important parts of being a team is to look like a team!
* I will always have a supply of tape in the locker room if you don't have your own.
** PRACTICE DRESS CODE
We wear all BLACK to practice. Black Jersey, Black Shell, Black Socks.

Rule #4
Be ready when the Coaches Enter the Locker Room
15
minutes before each game the coaches will come into the locker room to
discuss game strategy and line combinations. I expect you to be dressed
and ready to listen.
Line combinations will be put on the
board prior to our meeting. Make sure you know who you are playing
with. Make sure you know who you will pick-up on a line change.
|
Rule #5
Know your Assignment
Make sure you study the play book. I will expect each of you to know where you should be in all situations.
This goes back to rule #1. We will work on our play book during practice and in our chalk talk sessions.
The fastest way to find yourself on the end of the bench is to be in the wrong position on the ice.
At
this level of play, hockey becomes more of a team sport and less of an
individual sport. Know your assignments and be a part of the team.

RULE #6
Pre-Game Warm-Up
We will meet 45 minutes before each game for a quick 15 minute
warm-up session. Every player is expected to be ready to participate at
that time. This means you show up 10 minutes before that so you can
drop off your gear in the locker room and put on your sneakers.
