Indoor Soccer Registration
SCYA will again sponsor indoor soccer programs this Winter for 4th grade thru high school boys and girls. 3rd and 4th graders (co-ed) will play together. 5th & 6th graders (co-ed) will play together. 7th & 8th graders (co-ed) will play together. All high school players and advanced 8th graders will play together (co-ed). 3rd and 4th grade program will be instructional program only and we will need coaches to step up to help run this program. All other leagues are fun competitive programs without coaches and referees. The middle school programs, you can either register teams of 8 players or you can register individually and be placed on a team. All high school players will be assigned to teams in hopes to keep teams balanced talent wise for good competition. Registrations are now open and end in mid December. All timely registrations will receive a discount. As with all programs run by non-profit organizations, we have to depend on volunteers to be able to conduct these programs.

Grades: 3 - 8
Registration Fee: $70.00 ($50.00 if registered and paid by December 7)
Grades: 9 - 12
Registration Fee: $75.00 ($55.00 if registered and paid by December 7)

We are now using an online registration system with the ability to pay via PayPal on a secure server.
Note: If you do not wish to use PayPal, you may mail payment to: South County Youth Association (SCYA), P.O. Box 42, Shady Side, MD 20764. Be sure to include your child's name and sport in the memo line of your check. Payment must be received within 7 days or your child's registration will be cancelled.
The first time you visit our online registration site, Click Register to begin the process. After completing the first registration, you will receive an email that contains your password.
The next time you visit our online registration site, Click Login. You will use your phone number and the password that was sent to you in the email. Once logged in, you will be able to change your password to something easier to remember.

All players must complete the Participant Contract/Medical Release & Liability Waiver form. This form should be completed and handed to your coach at the first practice.

Arundel Cup Scholarship Awarded
Congratulations to Kasey Coleman, 2009 Anne Arundel Cup Scholarship Winner! Kasey attended Southern High School and played soccer for UYC.
39 high school seniors and current or former AAYSA soccer participants applied for the eight $2,000 scholarships and almost every organization in AAYSA was represented. The essays were very well written so the scoring was very tight... congratulations to all the applicants for the hard work they put in writing these essays!
