IMMOKALEE SEMINOLES PRACTICE TIMES-RULES-REGULATIONS
All football and cheer participants are required to be at the field at least 15 minutes early.

Practice will be held Monday-Friday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Following Labor Day practices will be held on Monday, Tuesday,and Thursday.
In case of rain outs during the week Wednesday and Friday nights will be used at the discretion of the Board of Directors. We will do our best to contact parents/participants of any changes. It is important that we have current contact information.


All football players ARE REQUIRED to have 10 hours of conditioning before they receive their full uniform. Helmets are provided for the first week of practice.



WHAT TO WEAR AND WHAT TO BRING
Football Players:

For the first full week of practice wear gym shorts, a tee shirt or practice jersey, football cleats. If you wear eyeglasses, you should either wear contacts or get a set of prescription Rec Specs. NO JEWLERY!!! NO JEANS or LONG pants will be permitted!

Cheerleaders

Gym shorts,a tee shirt or sport shirt and athletic shoes. NO SANDALS, JEAN SHORTS, or LONG PANTS of any kind will be permitted for practice. Hair must be put up and NO JEWLERY!!!


WHAT TO EAT and DRINK
DO NOT eat a big meal before practice. Eat something lite: salad, fruits, veggies, ect.

Stay HYDRATED!!!
This means drink about 16oz. of water before practice.

Sodas and sugar filled soft drinks are of no value as it takes longer for the water in the drinks to be absorbed into your childs system.

Sports drinks such as,Gatorade or Powerade is best used during and after practice, not before. You may bring your own Gatorade or Powerade. Water will be provided at all practices.

*Dehydration could effect how a child feels and performs during practices and may increase the risk of injury.
