We are in the process of updating and adding to this site on a regular basis.  When complete, we will offer links to hundreds of resources and informational sites to aid you in your cancer journey.  I encourage you to visit the links below for "some" informational links that we have available at this time.  I highly recommend the "cancer index" link - it has over 400 useful websites!   Most importantly... stay strong.

  • American Brain Tumor Association - The American Brain Tumor Association provides information and funds brain tumor research
  • American Cancer Society - Includes the latest news in research and so much more!
  • BMT Infonet- If a stem cell, bone marrow or cord blood transplant is in your future, BMT InfoNet is the place to visit. Find links to a companion program, where new patients are matched with families who have already completed the transplant. Plus a page with descriptions of the most popular drug names you will see during transplant.

  • CarePages - CarePages are personal Web pages that help family and friends communicate when someone is receiving care. It's free, private and easy to use!
  • Caring Bridge - A free service allowing patients (or anyone receiving care) to communicate with their family and friends using a Web Page. Easy to follow steps allow you to create and update your own Web Page.
  • Cure Our Children - The site in targets the needs of Peds. Hem./Onc families who are searching for information.
  • CureSearch.org - CureSearch represents the combined efforts of the National Childhood Cancer foundation and the Children's Oncology Group.

  • Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America - The Leukemia Society of America is a national voluntary health agency dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma - and to improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
  • Mayo Clinic Hematology Home Page - Our goal is to integrate practice and clinical research to advance the care of patients with Hematologic diseases.
  • Medicine OnLine Home Page - offers medical information and education in oncology, Medline literature searches, Daily Oncology News Digest, Cancer Forums discussion groups, and reports from medical meetings in Conrad Notes for health care professionals, patients, and other interested consumers.
  • National Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF) - Supports a network of childhood cancer treaments and research institutions throughout North America.
  • National Children Cancer Society (NCCS) - is opening a new forum that lets people ask questions on a message board. They are opening this new forum in Celebration of their 15th Anniversary.
  • Neuroblastoma Children's Cancer Society - an advocate for the children and their families and is dedicated to provide support. The primary focus of the organization is to raise money to assist local research in neuroblastoma cancer and to bring the fight to a national level to try and focus additional research and funding until a cure can be found.
  • OncoLink - A University of Pennsylvania Cancer Center Resource dedicated to cancer resource. Another site that's full of great information.
  • Pediatric Oncology Resource Center - This site provides information on diseases, treatments, family issues and activism. Also provides an opportunity to link with other families.
  • Ped-Onc Resource Center - a site by and for parents with children with cancer.

  • PlainTalk-About Leukemia Newsletters - "a source for all of you who are stricken or just want to learn more about what is happening with this disease."
  • The Sibling Support Project - A national program dedicated to the interest of brothers and sisters of people with special health and developmental needs.
  • Sickle Cell Anemia can help you understand sickle cell disease and how it can affect your child.

  • Sickle Cell Information Center Home Page - The mission of this site is to provide sickle cell patient and professional education, news, research updates and world wide sickle cell resources. It is the mission of our organizations to provide world class compassionate care, education, counseling, and research for patients with sickle cell disease.
  • Squirrel Tales - This site offers a forum for families to connect with other families regarding issues of having a child diagnosed with cancer.
  • Take my hand - part of the Cure Our Children web site. Providing Direct Support and Assistance to Families that have Children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
  • The Faces of Sarcoma - You can see the faces of sarcoma patients, survivors, and those who have lost their lives to sarcoma.  Brandon can be found on page 12.
