Q.- What is the Long Island Baymen Baseball Club, Inc.?
A.- The Long Island Baymen Baseball Club is an organization comprised of travel baseball teams for young baseball players who take the sport of baseball very seriously and who want to play in a competitive situation. The Organization was founded in 1990 and has produced quality teams for the past 24 years.

Q.- How much commitment is expected from a child that plays on a LI Baymen travel team?
A.- When a child plays on the Long Island Baymen full commitment to attend practices and games is expected. Parent commitment is also required to help support the child and the team.


Q.- How long does the season run?
A.- Most Baymen teams play spring, summer and fall seasons competing against some of the best league teams on Long Island. Most teams also enter tournaments throughout the year. In addition many of the Long Island Baymen teams hold indoor winter workouts.


Q.-I do not live in Ronkonkoma can I still play on a Long Island Baymen team?
A.- YES. Players come from all over Long Island to play on Long Island Baymen teams. The reason so many ballplayers choose the Baymen is the baseball expertise and teaching skills of the managers and coaches and the superior level of players on the teams.


Q.- What other benefits are there when a child plays for the Long Island Baymen?
A.- Besides the excellent coaching the Baymen are “grand fathered” into the Cooperstown Tournament as well as other tournament opportunities. Small roster sizes and a lot of baseball. 

Q.- How does my child get a tryout for a position on a Long Island Baymen team?
A.- To get a tryout with the Long Island Baymen contact the manager of your child's age group listed on the Welcome page of this website
